Time Well Spent

This month is going by in a blur.
Half gone meaning June is not far away
and we will then be working on half the year past.

Why is it going so fast?

I think this morning will be a
sit outside
drink my tea
watch the birds and bugs
kind of morning.

Yes, there are many many other things
that I should be doing this morning
but that is what I believe will start my day off right.
Time well spent I believe.

"Time you enjoy wasting is not wasted." ~ John Lennon

It popped into my head this morning that we'll be facing Christmas before we even blink. I'd like to pause the world in spring time and just let her be with us for a while, not zoom by so quickly.

I wonder why time passes so fast, too. Before we know it, it's Thanksgiving day and Christmas. Gotta enjoy every moment, even when wasting it :-)

Winter took forever to leave and now spring is going by too quickly. I like your idea of how to take it easy, relax with some tea and enjoy!

oh yes there should always be time for sitting back and enjoying the day.

Remember the word 'should' should be banned, it is one of those guilt inducing words that should be deleted from all dictionaries.
A cup of tea outside admiring nature is a perfect start to the day.

That sounds like the perfect start to a day.
There is no sense in rushing in to a day that belongs to a year that's already moving way too fast :)

Dearest Catherine,
Being outdoors, even for pulling weeds, is a bliss. Listening to the birds and all the new life is like a miracle coming around once a year... Time is going crazily fast!
Hugs,
Mariette
