What does it take?

When there is a high windchill warning out
of -47c (-52F), it takes

3 cups of tea
2 fuzzy blankets
and a big kitty
to keep your toeas warm....

and one of those fuzzy blankets
must be an electric one... :)

Staying under the covers today.

Happy Saturday!

That kitty looks well-pleased to have the job of keeping your toys warm. It's miserably cold here today, too.

Dearest Catherine,
What a cold with that windchill factor... You are lucky for having a big kitty!
Stay warm and hope it will not last long. Here we went from high 70s to high 60s.

I so do not blame you. Feel bad now for complaining about the chili ness here now.

Banjo looks like he is ready for the bitter cold. Your tree is lovely. I hope the cold lets up a bit. Thank you so very much for your kind words of sympathy in our loss of Yoko - it means a lot to us all.

-47C! Brrrr! You sure need an electric blanket! I used those in winter when I lived in Japan, too. My Goro is warming my legs here like Banjo is warming you :-) Banjo looks very happy there!

Awww.. Banjo looks so warm and comfy. And yes a heated blanked would do the trick.

Brrrrr!

It was cold and snowy here today too. We've had the fireplace going and the Christmas songs playing. It was nice NOT to have to go out in this cold!

Banjo sure is cozy! My son is adjusting to -21 in Colorado. He arrives next week and will have a few weeks to thaw out. :) Warm wishes, Tammy

Mom says with temps like that, it would take everything you listed plus the eight of us and a couple cups of hot chocolate to keep her warm. As usual, your photos are exquisite. Purrs and hugs, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo

I kinda wish I could come over, just so I could see what that kind of temperature feels like.
Kind of like dipping a toe in the ocean... just a wee little taste...then I'd like to get back on the plane. ;)
