Thank Goodness Someone is Looking After My Garden

August 16th...how can that be?

Summer is speeding to a close
and it's only been in the last few days that we have
really experienced the heat of summer.  Finally!

My garden has been very neglected this year.
Evidence lays scattered about of the only one
that has shown any interest in tending to my flowers...

My personal gardener...
Mr. Bun E. Rabbit

Thank goodness someone is looking after my garden... :)

Happy Friday!

He's cute! We have sooooo many bunnnies around our area the putting a fence around the garden was a must. And if the bunnies weren't enough, the deer are mighty big garden eaters here too. Cute pic!!

Does Mr. Rabbit deal to weeds? And if so, would he be free to help our garden?

Same here - we haven't had much of a summer at all....and it is already starting to feel like FALL. 48 yesterday morning. Brrrr!

He will no doubt take excellent care of the peas.

Same in my gardens Catherine, the front yard garden has a culprit that likes to top the flowers, either a rabbit or a deer.

I don't know who is looking after my garden, but it blooms despite my neglect!

I hope you're having a good week, and that you enjoy your weekend too!!

I'll bet he's very grateful for the perpetual salad bar. As for me, I'm grateful he's eating over at your place and not mine. *grin*

Well, Sir Bun is prolly quite grateful you've been so busy!

You seem to be taking Wascally Wabbits potential depredations in a good spirit, Catherine. :)

I hope you enjoy the rest of summer! Have a great weekend!

I know the feeling, but Mr. Bunny is really cute.

Having to force myself to keep up with the watering...much as I am wanting to give it up.

I'm sure B.E. Rabbit prefers a garden a bit wild and neglected; much more fun. X

It's hard to keep up the yard when you are working on the house. I try to do my house projects during the winter for that reason--otherwise it just overwhelms me.

Don't worry--the garden will be there when you are ready. :)

Rabbits make quite fine tenders-of-the-garden. Always ready to deadhead...even before the blooms are past their prime.
Wishing you a delightfully warm summertime weekend!

We've had a mild and rainy summer this year too. not complaining after the drought of last year.

Summer has gone by quickly--and luckily, we have stayed fairly mild this summer.. It's supposed to get hot here next week. I dread it since I hate hot weather...

Glad Mr. Bun is doing a good job of keeping your garden in good shape!!!!!! Wish he would send a cousin or two to eat ONLY the weeds for us.

Hugs,
Betsy

I personally can't wait for summer to be over. I'm so tired of being hot and paying high electric bills for air conditioning.

Cute bunny! I don't see many of them around here...mostly squirrels. Can't help but love your garden helper. Enjoy the rest of your summer. :-)
