You Have To Pace Yourself

Renovations...
those who have gone through it know
that your life is turned upside down
until it is completed.

Hey Stanley...
you paint the high parts
and I'll paint the low parts
and we'll meet somewhere in the middle!

As you can see
Banjo has been his very helpful self.
I believe he is holding down the drop cloth
so paint doesn't get on 'his' bed.
a.k.a. the spare bedroom bed

Yup...
you make sure it stays down good Banjo.
Good cat...

Rooms have been painted.
Colors to be revealed soon.

Next?
Carpet and old laminate to be torn out.
New laminate to be laid.

Pace yourself Banjo...
there's still a lot of work to be done.

All that chaos is very exciting (and exhausting) to the cat. I hope he is having fun!

With any luck Banjo you will stay asleep while all is chaos and drama around you. XX

It's a hard life for a kitty --who has to supervise Mom and Dad all day long --making sure that all of the work is done correctly... It's no wonder that Banjo is TIRED.....

Great job, you two....
Hugs,
Betsy

Maybe dip Banjo's tail in some paint and he can help? Nope. That's crazy talk. :)

Fun, fun, fun! But oh so wonderful when it's done. :-)

Banjo might want to help with the painting, using his paws. The boys have done that for me!

You two really should help Banjo out. He can't do the entire job alone. :)

Painting is a hard job but worth it in the end! You really shouldn't be working Banjo so hard! Poor thing!

Banjo, you look so peaceful and content. Our mom says you are doing exactly what she would want if she were painting. Too many painting mishaps in the past for her when pets were involved. Purrs and hugs, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo

The painting part is not one of my favorite things to do. I have several rooms that need painted though.
Are you doing the floors yourself?

Banjo's life has not been turned upside down at all i don't think. Lol. He looks so relaxed and at peace with everything that's going on. Just being feline.. :).

Susan McShannon-Monteith said...

Well it seems Banjo has everything under control...
Is it a gentle shade of green you have chosen or blue to match Banjo's eyes.
How brave Stanley is high up on that ladder.

Ok I'll be honest. I didn't much like this post as it reminded me of the fact that I was recently informed that our bedroom needs painting, a new carpet, and.... well you get the idea. :)

I see Banjo here as a "Consultant". After my Dad passed away, it took me three years to renovate my Mom's house anew. It was worth it and she loves it!

Splendid Little Stars said...

Where Stanley is standing looks a bit scary!
Yep, lots of experience with renovations here. going through some right now. The house is a bit discombobulated.
