Take a deep breath and...

Did I ever mention I hate heights?

Banff Gondola
2,281 metres (7,486 feet) above sea level

Sometimes you have to just
take a deep breath and do it.

I would have missed all the Chipmunk fun
if I hadn't rode to the top!

Happy Monday!

I'd need Ativan (or whatever it is) for that! Seriously! I'd be petrified the entire thing would give way and go crashing to the earth, a death trap!

Good for you for being courageous!

Yup been there done that over the years at Banf. And then over the years the pills didn't prevent the panic attacks at heights for the Mrs. so now went avoid steep drops...

great stuff Catherine! yeah for you and your courage and fortitude is so admirable. I like the nice single face photos of you and your hubby - really nice. have an inspiring week at work (if that is possible) oops did I say that?

You would have missed out on so much more, if you hadn't taken the ride. If you ever get the chance to take the Gondola up Cypress Mountain in Vancouver, you should. The views are spectacular!

Courage is my word for the year. Not sure I've really been living it...10 points...Hmmm....

Sorry you had to go back to work today.

Blessings,
Carolynn

Oh you were brave. The gondola is something that I have always wanted to do but thought I might not be able to breath the whole time I was up there. How beautiful though!

Whoa Catherine, though the views were beautiful, I needed a Xanax just thinking about that one! I guess courage isn't one of my strong suits, but I'm really happy for you, conquering that fear really gave us some awesome photos to look at!

Good for you, Catherine. Isn't that amazing once you are up there? We did this years ago when we lived out west. I was scared skinny but so happy that I did it. Thanks for dropping by tonight.

Sometimes you gotta just look forward and NOT down!! EEEK!

Good for you! I'm terrified of heights too, and I would have spent the entire ride up looking at the floor of the gondola...and yet I love to fly! Weird, huh?

Gorgeous views though!

Dearest Catherine,
Sorry I missed this one... No I don't hate heights. It is far more the lows of life; like on this fatal Monday when our Sacha girl got killed. I've not cried that much in years...
Hugs and hold your Banjo tight!
