31 Days of May ~ A Project ~ Day 3, 4 & 5

May 3:
  • Drink your skinny chia latte outside before heading to work in the morning

  • Rejoice in the fact that your tulips are finally starting to break through the ground

  • Stop and buy some sparkly nail polish to paint your toe nails (after seeing that you need a pedicure in your May 2 photo) for date night

May 4:
  • Take a little road trip with your sweetie

  • Stop and marvel at how nature can evolve in the middle of a dry prairie field that just happens to be flooded for a short time (millions of frogs...amazing) and that they can adapt to anything (a plastic bag makes for a very comfy lily pad...)

  • Go visit your mommy

May 5:
  • With hubby out golfing all day and sonny boy working all day, stay in bed for a couple extra hours and watch a movie (if you like Pride & Prejudice or Sense & Sensibility, you will love Wives and Daughters!)

  • Spend Sunday afternoon laying on your patio in the sun (slap on that sunscreen!), snack, drink fruity pink lemonade and read magazines (the dust and laundry isn't going anywhere)

  • Enjoy all the wildlife that comes to visit and entertain you while you are laying outside soaking up the sun

to be continued...

I'd say your project is coming along very nicely. Now that my toes are coming out of hibernation, it's time for a pedicure here, too. *grin* Glad to hear you had a fabulous weekend, relaxing and enjoying your hubby.

yeh...I, too, finally see some green sprigs poking out of the dry, hard ground...how do they do it? .... I don't even know where to find them each spring...

I've seen ads for Wives and Daughters...I loved both Pride & Prejudice and Sense & Sensibility, as well as Persuasion. I'll have to check this out.

BTW, the family resemblance is striking, but I'd have said that's your sister, not mother! Seriously! Good genes run on the maternal side.

Great things !!...love from me....xxx...

Wow your project is going very well!!
The picture of dry prairie with pond is amazing and beautiful! The area back of our townhouse is usually dry, but lots of rain makes a small pond sometimes. Then I can hear many frogs singing :-)
I love the photo of you with your mom. You both look beautiful with bright smile!

You and your mother could almost be twins. I think you will be sorted by day 31 of May. You are doing so well you don't need any more advice.

Sorry I was having one of those moments when I forgot about reading your about page and realize now that your from Saskatchewan yourself. So forget about my foolish question!
