31 Days of May ~ A Project ~ Day 21, 22, 23 & 24

May 21:
  • Take the dessert you made out to your blog friend Carolynn's (a glowing ember) house and have coffee/tea and dessert to introduce the hubbies.  Laugh all evening and stay out waaay past your bed time (9:45 pm).
NOTE: This is only an actor portrayal of the four us (had you fooled didn't I??) since we didn't take a photo.  But truly, we were two good lookin' couples.  :)
Stanley & I and Carolynn & her 'Frenchman'

May 22:
  • Enjoy unexpected quests that drop by.

May 23:
  • Start your morning off with a little Mary Jane (wanna) that you just bought.  Hemp...the legal kind.  ;)
  • Take delight in the little surprise "Thank You" card that your friend Carolynn left for you at your work.  Made by blogger Jen (Muddy Boot Dreams).  So pretty Jen! (Jen is the blogger that introduced me to Carolynn's blog just before Carolynn moved to Swift Current and that's how Carolynn and I became friends!)

May 24:
  • As it is windy and pouring rain when you get off work at 1:30 pm on Friday, make yourself a big bowl of popcorn for lunch.  Use a spray bottle to spray your butter on, thus getting all your popcorn evenly coated with using less than a tablespoon of butter.
  •  Watch Ellen while eating your popcorn.
  • Marvel in the beauty of your bark yard when all of a sudden around 4 pm the rain stops, the wind stops, the blue sky appears and the sun shines so warmly.  Just in time for Friday Night Date Night and a long evening walk with your sweetie.

to be continued...

Sounds like it's been a good week, happy for you. Sad no photos of Banjo this week. :) We have sunshine today and my lovely Skipper caught and ate two furry creatures this morning!! (She does not like being on a diet.) LOL

These days sound perfect to me! Ooo la la at the 'Frenchmen" husband you picked for Carolynn! I think I'd visit her more often! Sorry Matt, er, I mean Stanley!

Catherine, I am so behind in reading all of your lovely thoughts, and doings....what a great project you have created. I have some back reading to do.

I bet that the four of you looked more then just a passing glance like movie stars...

Thanks for showing the card, and for mentioning it with a link...that is too sweet of you to do that.

I miss Carolynn, she was my first "blogger friend" and how serendipitous that both she and I moved from the coast to the Okanagan, and then she moves from here to your neck of the woods, just as you and I find each other's blog.

I am so happy that you two are getting to know each other...

Give the babies a hug for me...all of them.

Jen

What a fabulous week you have had... Isn't it great to meet blog friends in person? It's as if you have known them your entire life... So special... Glad you had such a good time.

Don't think I would enjoy a visit from Lady bugs... We had them swarm here one year --and it was hard to keep them out of the house and off of us.... Yuk!

We love popcorn too... I just have to have something crunchy at times. We use Molly MacButter to enhance ours...

Have a fun weekend.
Hugs,
Betsy
