31 Days of May ~ A Project ~ Day 1 & 2

After sending out an
"SOS"
yesterday morning
the blog friends pull through.

(I had no doubt that they would!)

much love
much support
many ideas

(sending you all big hugs!)

 Thus starts
31 Days of May ~ A Project

find my happy
find my groove
find my sparkle

MAY 1:
  • Book a week's holidays - something to fucus on

  • Go for a 60 minute walk after supper, taking in the warm sunshine

  • Take 10 minutes during your walk to stop and play with the adorable puppy of a friend

May 2:
  • Buy an inspirational book at your favorite store (Pharmasave) and read 3 pages each morning before you go to work

  • Enjoy your lunch break by hosting a 'hoop and lunch' party for girls you work with (I should have bought shares in a hula hoop company...)

  • Take 15 minutes when you first get home from work to sit and relax, bare feet up, soaking in the sunshine

 to be continued...

What a great project, go for it...and when the spring starts to arrive in your frosty land, think how much happier you will be.

Oh wow--you and I are in the same place these days. I just wrote about my crabbiness and now I have to move forward...and find the good in each day. I shall join you in your quest for change!!

Dearest Catherine,
Wow, what a great posting. We were thinking about the cold weather they have had in The Netherlands, where daughter Liz with husband Hans had to join us from. They came straight out of winter into the tropics on the island of Curaçao! Liz is born in British Columbia in Prince Rupert so she's from a very cold region as well. Hope the sunshine will soon bring back your sparkle. Love you way with words; you shine from the inside out.
By the way, any suggestions for finding a smaller sized weighted hoola-hoop? Locally there are none to be found. Since I'm a size 4 I need a smaller one; that's for sure. Maybe you got a hint for diameter or whatever.
Thanks in advance.
Hugs,
Mariette

All of the above sound perfect but the last one to me is the best.....sigh:) It's so nice to be able to sit outside again...I think this winter I got a bit of cabin fever because it just seemed to last forever.

What a wonderful, uplifting series! You made this one day (this second to last day of May) so much happier for me as I journeyed through your month of beautiful posts. Sometimes seeing things like this in one big batch just multiplies the happiness it radiates.

But I have one question... were those chia lattes you were drinking? Or chai lattes? (it really could be either! But I've never had a chia latte. lol!)
