Just One Please

Of all the holidays,
I find Easter has the
hardest to resist treats...

Is it the colors?
Is it the pretty foiled chocolates?
Is it the carmel or truffle centres?

Well how will one tiny chocolate egg hurt...
assuming a person can stop at one...

Wishing everyone a most wonderful Good Friday!

OMG, I need chocolate now! None, there's NONE in the house. Aggghh!

Happy Easter...Here's hoping you soon see crocuses and snowdrops too. For the record, we still have lots of snowbanks around, from the plows. But at least our little back space finally is clear, just soggy now. :-)

Those eggs are not a temptation, thankfully. Hope you have a great Easter and hugs to Banjo. :)

I never used to like chocolate that much and could make one square last a long time. Then, something changed and I find I'm eating more & more of the stuff. I'm blaming it, along with everything else, on peri-menopause. Weight gain?: peri-menopause. Mood swings?: peri-menopause. Global warming?: you guessed it - peri-menopause.

Happy Easter!

I never by the candy, so I'm lucky I don't have any temptation. BUT, at work that is a different matter. Sigh....

Candy is my heroine so I can't resist it at any time. Sometimes I'll buy a bag of jelly beans (Jolly Rancher, of course) and eat a handful and throw the rest away at the nearest trashcan. It's my fix and way of resisting my urge to eat the entire bag. Hope you have a blessed Easter.

Stop at one tiny chocolate egg? I think not :)

No!! lol. Who can stop at just one?? If only i could. Sigh. Alas, i cannot. I would have to sit far, far away from that dish in your pic.. filled with yummy treats like it is. (Good thing i have kinda short, vertically challenged arms, and it's impolite to reach.. i try to mind my manners after all.) That bunny in there looks too cute to eat though...

I think the Easter bunny would be insulted if you only took just one treat.m =)

Stopping at one was always the hardest for me... I could eat-eat-eat... BUT-no more. I just stay away from most of that stuff.

I did tell Hubby that I could eat ONE Cadbury Egg on Sunday. Maybe we'll split it... Other than that, that is all of the candy I will eat.

Happy Easter.
Hugs,
Betsy

I agree, Easter treats are very hard to resist. I think it's colors and shapes (egg, bunny, etc) that makes them irresistible. The other day I found tiny sponge cake with bunny face on it. It was so cute that I had to get it! It was so tiny that it shouldn't hurt.... :-)
I wish you a very happy Easter weekend!

What a lovely basket full of yummy things. Mom loves the candy corn and she spied some in your basket. We stole one from some her friend gave her and left little tiny pieces all over the foyer floor. She was not amused. Happy belated Easter. Purrs and hugs from the kitties at The Cat on My Head, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Josette
