Easier Said Than Done

  • Blowing snow warnings out for most of the province (100 km/60mph winds)
  • Highway closures
  • Predictions of more snow for the next three days

I would cry but I'm scared of my eyes freezing shut...

I promise my next post will not have me complaining about the weather...

It's hard not to be discouraged. It is cold here, but it looks so nice out the window--it's very deceiving. :( We have snow forecasted as well. Hang in there, pally!

Snow here too Catherine. Is this really the first day of Spring?

It's certainly taking its time this year.

We had wind, rain and hail today but no snow. You can complain all you like if you keep that snow.

I'm thinking as hard as I can!

It's quite strange living in the desert and reading about so much snow and cold. The summer's here are brutal, if that is any consolation, Catherine! :)

Sorry, but this made me laugh!

I've pretty much given up on checking the forecast, it's too, too depressing.

Now, what was that sweet thing I just heard? Oh! "March winds are just spring waking up and yawning."

hahahahahahahaaaaaa!

Well, Cat! We had an early spring - things greening up in the garden, slightly - daffodils poking up - robins and redwing blackbirds back - and on the first day of spring, we woke up to blue skies and a foot of snow! ;) But warm-ish weather persists, so we'll be alright. (the only hard thing is starting all over again with mud season!! =P)

Hang in there!!!!

xxo

Hi Catherine, If it makes you feel any better, it's cold here too. Was 15 on our deck early this morning.. AND--to think, it's officially spring. Don't think Old Man Winter is ready to leave any of us right now though.. Darn!!!!

Be careful out there in the snow today.
Hugs,
Betsy

It's cold here today...I think I bragged too much about our 70 degree days last week.

LOL! You cracked me up with your eyes freezing shut comment! Don't cry until spring arrives!
We are expecting some sleet and rain/snow mix starting tonight. Sigh. I thought it was already spring here!

That's how I feel here when it is way too hot to go outside and do anything. But the Spring will come and you will have a beautiful rest of the year. The hotter we get over here, the worse it is gonna get. Take care! Tammy

I think it's hard to not get a little discouraged. Winter is so long. It seems like the longest season. I'm longing for summer myself, lol. (I know, that's really rushing things.) Darkness, gray, here, at least, tons of rain. Sending encouraging hugs to you from down here! :) Good weather will be there before you know it!
