How cute is that! I'll take anything spring that I can get a hold of, winter be gone!
What a creative idea! A few of those lined up in the window, would be just the thing. Might be making a run to the store this weekend between curling games. You are so clever, Catherine! Thanks for sharing your ideas.
The colours alone are so cheerful and fresh.
Dearest Catherine,If that will NOT put a spring in your steps; what will...?!Hugs to you,Mariette
The candy flowers are cute. I'm sure they are tasty too! :)xo
And some happy spring it is... So pretty..Hugs~
ours is gonna be a LOT more expensive. The landscaping is part of the big reno we began last summer. The guys got caught with their pants down and it snowed before they got any work done...the underground sprinkler system got wrecked doing the sidewalks ... pipes are still sticking up above ground... grass is torn up...etc... the trees were taken down late and stumps are still there .... blah, blah.... so.... now... they can begin again... and eventually build a fence and fix allof that and then...thousands of dollars later...I will have a clean, tidy and fixed yard! With a few new smaller trees. You can see why I have been enjoying snow. It is covering a multitude of sins and filth and breakage....plus there are old tarps covering topsoil and bricks and blocks all over the yard too....sigh..I try to avoid looking out windows ..
Amazing what joyful things one can find at the Dollar Stores. Those little flower pots are so springy--and so colorful.. congrats.Hugs,Betsy

great idea! If spring won't come to you, add some Spring into your life yourself!I have a friend who grew some grass (the lawn kind!) in a pot and then snipped some every so often.
