There's no reason for the photos of the baby robin.
It's just that I have lacked the inspiration for taking photos the last couple of weeks
and this wee little delight was in my backyard this summer
and I hadn't shown the photos yet.
So after a most lovely weekend in Medicine Hat, Alberta with Stanley
and due to the fact that we once again did NOT win big in the lottery,
it was back to work yesterday with frigid temperatures...
I'm starting to think this winning big in the lottery is not a sure thing...

Great photos, love the one with the open wing. Have a good week and keep warm. :)
I think you may be right! Stay warm.
Awwww, that little guy is adorable! It's nice to see some spring and green when all we have is cold and....uh....snow(?). (We still don't have any)
We haven't won the lottery yet either. I hear it causes more problems than it does good....but I dunno. I'd like to find out.
LOL @ the lottery thing, because I've recently started buying tickets, not to Lotto Max (too pricey), but to an Ontario lottery. Huh. No luck for me, either.
Love the baby robin pics. Just a couple of months and we ought to see robins back for real.
BTW, the revised forecast windchill tonight will be -32C, Catherine. *Sob*!
Oh what a lovely little robin...dearest thing :) and how lovely of you to take a glimpse of him and make him famous :).
He's adorable! I like that second photo of him stretching. :) I play the lotto as well...you never knos. :)
Cute little birdie! Hmmm, I think you may be right about the lottery.
no reason needed to post beautiful photos of birds, he is beautiful and so are the photo's. so if you disappear from blog land, will that mean you won BIG?
I really like your photo's .The only photo's i make the last weeks are from the birds outside. Here we are also stil waiting to win big haha.Have a great week

That is one cute little birdie!
Awww we didn't win either....what's wrong with those tickets.
Actually they are probably made by the same people that make the mailboxes that only deliver bills.
Hmmmm

So nice to see that little guy, especially in the midst of winter.

Oh the baby robin is so cute!
Sorry you didn't win the lottery. I keep dreaming of winning big...but I have to actually buy the lottery first ;-)
I think your right about the lottery but as I tell Mrs. T not to worry because she was already lucky in love.... :)
I'm glad you waited to share these precious photo's, Catherine, it brings back warm memories which we can really use right now!
Dearest Catherine,
That baby Robin is lucky that Banjo could not interfere with his stretch and wing flexing exercise!
Hugs to you,
Mariette
Oh, what a cute little one, Catherine !
About the lottery, my husband sometimes says 'I'm sure we're going to win big', so far it has not happened :-)
Hugs,
Sylvia
My thinking is instead of buying lottery , save that money ...Hopefully one day you will be a millionaire for sure LOL
Cute pictures :)
You don't need a reason.. it is nice, on this very very very cold day, to be reminded that summer will come again.
Nothing is so sweet as a baby robin, especially at feeding time when Mom brings the bugs and worms.
Oh I LOVE that baby :)
I haven't felt much like using my camera lately either but when all you've got around you is snow it kind of takes the thrill away :) Cute robin.
My hubby keeps asking me why I don't win the lottery.. I asked him: "Well, do I have to play to win???" ha ha
Cute little Robin.. Bet they have gone south now for the winter...
Hugs,
Betsy
Oh, I love your little bird! My husband is the lottery ticket buyer in our family. He gives them to me and I check them, making me the Official Bearer of Bad News. *smile*
What a precious Robin...so sweet and such good pictures to show him off...
The robin seemed to be showing you some fancy moves! So the weekend in Medicine Hat was the special plans with Stanley? Or maybe it was winning the lottery? :) Maybe next time!
What a cute robin. Just look at those legs. Wishing you a happy week.
Hugs~
Cute little birdie. We play the lotto to...check the numbers & Russ will say "we'll, we have to go to work tomorrow!"
a sweet post Catherine with a lovely little bird.....x
Love that little robin -- cuteness.
At least you buy a ticket. We don't even do that.
So you think you're not going to win huh? Well, I don't either, I feel that way enough that I don't bother to buy tickets... love the birdie!
This little one is precious! I'm so glad you shared it with us. Let's stay positive about the lottery, okay? I'm beginning to think it's my only hope!!
I really like that picture! Thanks for sharing!
