Let's Catch Up

Hello my lovely blog friends!
So much to catch up on...
but first:

Thank you to Linda at My Happy Place
for the cute Christmas card!

Also, a very big Thank You to
Catherine from Le Monde de Catherine
for the sweet gifts as well!

I was a very spoiled girl!
So many lovely things
I got for Christmas.
Missing from the photo are slippers
(I was wearing them while taking photos!)
and a cute little snow bird
that I will show you in a day or two.

Banjo appears to be very
'pooped' from his busy week...no?
*sarcasm*

(Did this photo make you yawn?  It does me!)

Yup.  There was a lot of laziness
going on at our house over Christmas.

Our Christmas was very very quiet here
but still I feel very pooped as well.

And since I am off work today,
I will be relaxing,
catching up with blog friends,
watching movies and snoozing.

And you?
Ready for some rest and relaxation?
Or are you still going strong?

Cleaning today, why is it that over Christmas one is never home, but the house becomes a state of disaster? One more gathering on Saturday, and of course a New Year's bash at our house. I wish I was Banjo right now, snore....have a nice relaxing day ;)

What a pretty card! You have some lovely gifts. I did get a new perfume, I love perfume! And my son gave me a pretty Panda Bear necklace, I collect Panda Bears. :) I've eaten way too much so I better get walking! lol Banjo looks really relaxed. Glad you had a nice Christmas!

Banjo is the epitome of relaxation. As are all cats, evidently. Just watching my cat, Luna, snooze gets me in the mood for a nap.

I picked up a copy of Mirror Mirror the other day and am looking forward to watching it when The Frenchman is at work late one evening. I don't think it'll be his 'thing'.

We're doing a bit of this & that today, nothing that requires any great amount of commitment or energy.

Enjoy the last few days of your holiday! Thank you for sharing a part of one of them with me!

Big Hug,
Carolynn

Hi there, sounds like my type of Christmas---QUIET... We had a quiet one this year also--after visiting family BEFORE Christmas... Loved it.

Lots of goodies.
Have you watched Brave yet... it looks great.
Banjo has the right idea... who wants to venture out into the cold when relaxing is a much better way to spend the day.
Have a fantastic weekend and Happy New Year!!

Looks like you had a wonderful, relaxing Christmas! Doesn't Linda make the loveliest cards?
There's been a lot of laziness going on around here too!

My cat spends its time in a similar fashion! We had a fun Christmas! We stayed home this year so it seemed more relaxed than usual, which is nice! Hope you have a very Happy New Year!

Really ready for some rest. Real rest, whatever that is.

Christmas here is always very quiet and low key. I like it that way too.
cute gifts and LOVE the shot of Banjo

Our Christmas was quiet too, but for some reason it still tires a person out! Lucky you, you got "Brave" for Christmas... I am dying to see that one :) Cheers to you and yours!

My Christmas was a whirl of family and noise. Now all has gone quiet again and my cats slept right through Christmas.

Nice gifts, the little cupcake is so cute. Banjo has the right idea for the holiday season, rest and relax whenever possible.

So glad you liked your card. I had fun making it. I have had a couple of days of rest but tomorrow starts the craziness again. We are off to ring in the new year with friends and family in Arizona. Should be fun!

Wishing you a happy New Year!

We are in a flux between lots to do, still, and then flopping down in a lazy heap. What happened to that driven mojo I've had for the past two months? sigh. Onward to dreamy January! =]

and, er, soooo is it still quiet? and.... are you alright? (Just checking. =])
