Shout Out, Nobody's Talking and Eeeek!

Another weekend gone.  The last week of November is upon us.  How has that happened?

A big SHOUT OUT to Carolynn from A Glowing Ember who now only lives a 'hop skip and a jump' from me!  It was wonderful to meet you in person last week.  Thank you so much for the beautiful cards you gifted me.  And, thank you for the Skinny Peppermint Latte from Starbucks!  My treat next time... at Tim Horton's??  ;)

And... I am sad to report that I have had one Christmas decoration casualty.  I did not actually see who broke it and not Hubby, Son or Banjo are confessing to it.  They are remaining silent... covering up for each other I think... hmmm...

The next nine days are going to be busy.  I leave for Regina today for work and will be home Tuesday night. A department party Thursday night.  Wayne's office Christmas party Friday night.  I have 5 assignments to do for a class that I am taking that have to be done before I write my final exam by the end of the day, Monday, December 3/12... EEEEK!

Wishing you all a terrific last week of November!

Wow sounds like a very busy week. Best of luck with your course. I am sure Banjo had nothing to do with that ornament. :) My little Skipper is not feeling too well today. Hope you have a great week. Hugs Anesha

When I first saw the post title I read it as "Shoot out" and thought it was going to be something terrible...or maybe something hockey-related. LOL.

Good luck this week...and as for the ornament, probably it was a sudden gust of (indoor) air that blew it off the tree and broke it. ;-)

Well we know Banjo would do no such thing Catherine, to even think he may be the culprit would be absurd, so it must be one of the boys. It was such a beautiful ornament too. Keep calm and carry on! Sounds like a lot happening!

Yikes, that is almost beyond busy!

Busy indeed! I'm thinking you need to get some ornaments of the non-breaking variety. :) Best wishes, Tammy

Always very neat to meet another blogger! Bet you two had fun.

Oh, and if I had broken it, I wouldn't tell either. LOL

Perhaps "Mr. Nobody" has paid you a visit and dropped that delicate ornament. He frequents here occasionally.

Blame it on the cat..I did say that all that sparkles catches the cat's eye..particularly that little thingy on the end that is so-o-o inviting to cats paws! -^.^-

You sound very busy, my friend.... BUT--you'll make it and hopefully have a wonderful week.

Sorry about the Christmas Casualty... That may NOT be the only one!!!! Ya think????? ha

We got our tea assortment --and have sampled two of them so far... One was a Peppermint one (good) and the other was some kind of Berry one which tasted alot like coconut (excellent).

Hugs,
Betsy

Betsy Adams said...

HI, Me again. The tea sample we had which we both loved was called Alpine Punch. It had a coconut taste --if you like Coconut..... Excellent.

I'm tired out from all you have to do! I hope Stanley and Kurtis don't break any more ornaments while you're gone since we all know Banjo would never do such a thing! :)

Working, blogging, taking classes, and you're already all decorated? Ugh. Hope you take time to breathe (and that you don't have any more casualties!)

Ann said...

It couldn't have been Banjo that broke the ornament. Must have been your husband or son :)
Sounds like you are going to be very busy. Hope you find a little relaxing time in there somewhere

Katnip Lounge said...

Uh oh...perhaps Banjo could glue it back together...just kidding!
Make sure to take time for yourself in the weak ahead.

Dearest Catherine,
Well, in your area everything seems to get advanced as those Christmas parties are early too.
But you will manage and don't be mad at Banjo!
Hugs to you,
Mariette

Aww, you're a sweetie. It was my pleasure to share my cards with you and so much fun to get together in person! I was going to suggest that we do Timmy's next time. Fair is fair.

That's a lovely ornament. Too bad it broke. What kind of course are you taking?

Tamago said...

What a fun to meet bloggie friend! And she lives close to you now? How wonderful! These cards are so lovely!
I'm sorry about the decoration...I wonder what happened. Maybe a wind blew somehow and it fell...right, Banjo?

Eileen said...

Hope your week is less busy than it sounds...that's crazy busy!

It couldn't have been Banjo...right?

Lin said...

Oh, darn. :( I'm sorry you lost one. While we laugh about it, my heart still breaks a little when I lose a lovely ornament. There are just some things that cannot be replaced very easily.

sounds like a crazy week--hope it works out okay for you.

Mr. Black said...

I'm Banjo's alibi. He was with me at the time the ornament was broken. Whatever time that was.

Good luck with your busy week!

I can vouch for Banjo, I know it wasn't him but I can't speak for the other household occupants. Such a pretty decoration too. XO

You will have a busy week ... whether it will lead!

SweetMarie said...

You are a busy bee! I'm guessing Banjo may know something about the ornament. :) Remember to breathe. :)

Michael Manning said...

I wasn't going to say anything, but I confess to counseling Banjo to remain quiet about "the incident". It sounds like he has been following my advice! ;)

Linda R said...

Hummm.. I am thinking Banjo is innocent in the whole breaking of the ornament thing. He is way to cute to have done something like that.

I had a Tim Horton's coffee for the first time when I went on my Cruise.. It was pretty yummy!

Hope your not to busy to enjoy this last week if November.

Hugs~

Your tree looks beautiful... A breakage already - oh dear not a good sign! Perhaps you need a fence around the tree!

Hope it was still intact on your return... Enjoy your partying & good luck with your assignments & exam!
