Wanna do tradesies?

It's been snowing on and off for 4 days now.
Quite frankly, I'm tired of it already.

I wonder if anyone in Palm Springs, California
is looking to trade for a house of equal value
in Swift Current, Saskatchewan...

Anyone out there want to do tradesies?

Oh Catherine, I had no idea you all were having snow--We're awaiting the arrival of a hurricane here, so I don't know if 'we' should trade or not!! Stay warm, and I'll be trying to stay dry!! :-)

Not a chance. We set a record high temp yesterday, not sure about today, though.

We're getting rain for a week now, and much, much cooler temps.

But you can still keep the s-n-o-w!

No thanks, I think I'll keep my sun. Stay warm. XO

What a cool pic!

We are 70F here today - but a MAJOR STORM coming our way - possible snow on Tuesday....how is that possible??

Stay warm, and no to the trade :) I do like the beauty of snow, and making snow men, etc.

Dearest Catherine,

You're welcome to take a break in the Rose Suite but I don't think we would trade... Even though I'm not living in California but we have sunshine and 28°C all week. We need rain; not snow...
Hugs to you,
Mariette

Northern Minnesota probably wouldn't qualify.

That's why all the "snow birds" have homes in Palm Springs. To get out of the snow. Too bad most people can't afford two homes!

Oh dear... It's gone really cold here today, but no sign of snow!

Luckily, we have had our annual delivery of logs, so are snug with our woodburner!

Keep warm Catherine & hope you have a good weekend.

Kay :)

Hmmmmmmm, trade? Nope!

That'd put a new meaning to the term 'snowbird' for someone to leave Palm Springs for snowy Swift Current!

You'd miss the snow. California has earthquakes, lots of fires, a depressed economy...
We've got this Frankenmonster (that's what they're calling it) storm coming up the east coast that's going to unite with that cold front coming from you.
Doesn't look good.
But we're Canadians and harsh weather survival is in our blood.
Stay warm and have a great weekend.

Well, no sun here (just a lot of cold rain, rain, rain) but I'd come for a visit and play in the snow with you! I'd bring tea too!

Yuck!!! I'm sure we'll be seeing it here before too long. I've heard possibly even next week

We would trade with you but that would mean you would have to live in a little old farm house and work with dogs all day.

Hey wait, that doesn't sound so bad. I think we will stay here.

But you can come and visit....

I don't live in CA Catherine, but you can send some snow this way, For some unknown reason beyond me I can't wait for this years winter!

Hi Catherine, I can understand why you get tired of snow up there. I love snow--but we only get a tiny bit each year (and some years none at all)... You all need to move HERE.. We have all 4 seasons --and it's a beautiful place to live.
Hugs,
Betsy

Hmmmm...you've got me thinking! That would be a long trip for our fur babies! I'm so tempted, so tired of two seasons! I want four seasons that includes a little snow every year at Christmas time. :)
Have a great weekend! Sending you sunshine to melt the snow. :)

No snow here, just a few flakes on and off...and that's just two hours away. Of course, we know it's coming!

Good luck with trying to find a trade...if it works, let me know!

I love your snowy shots, and I'd love to see the snow falling through the window!
But I don't think I would survive outside...
Have a good weekend Catherine! :)

We hit 35 degrees celsius yesterday. The kitties barely moved! And yet I think we'd be complaining if it snowed, too ;)

Deb said...

Oh it will be here soon enough. It feels today like it is fast approaching. I don't think it's very nice, though that you have already had 4 days of snow. :(

Cheri said...

Ewww..4 days of snow already? Nope - no tradesies here. Stay warm and cozy!

Michael Manning said...

Hahaha! As a reversal of weather, I doubt it. But it was a nice thought. We have 78 degrees in Arizona today!

Linda R said...

As much as a bitch about the heat here I don't think I would like the snow much either. We sure are a picky bunch aren't we.

Keep warm.

Hugs~

I just can't even imagine that you are already getting snow. That's better than a hurricane. Or an earthquake. Our weather has been nicer so we've been walking the past several days. Sending warm wishes your way. Tammy

...and I missed commenting on this post, too! You know, I've just finished a CRAZY two months.... by the time I would get to the computer (if I could get to the computer) I was mute from exhaustion. Well! Heigh ho! I've been here all along! =]

and, no way - you seem to get about three to four weeks of winter than us - no tradesies - eek! But, you weren't talking about VT, I don't think.... ;) Oh, Cat! Snow already?! I'm glad that it seems to have melted for you, now, though. and, we're talking about something of great import, here.... snow!!! It effects us so hugely! =P Well, I don't think you were thinking of VT, anyhoo....
