Sad Heart, Small Bed

A part of my heart is missing...

Stanley's on a business trip to
Springfield Missouri.

He left yesterday and
will be gone for six nights.

It's going to be a long week.  :(

Though for some reason,
even with Stanley away
I still seem to only have

QUIT HOGGING THE BED BANJO!!!

Miss you Stanley...

Hope the days go fast, and he's back soon.

You know what they say about work expanding to fill the time available....well cats expand to fill the space available in the bed...it's part of their magic.

Lovely kitty.

Banjo will have no problem taking up the entire vacant space. I often wonder how my two, at about 12 pounds each, can take up most of the queen sized bed, leaving me with such a small spot.

I hope the week passes quickly for you. Maybe you can look at it as a mini-vacation for yourself and treat yourself to something fun/special every day. A break from coming home to cook and clean for someone else, after a full day's work. (Unless he does the cooking and cleaning!)

What a sweet post!!
IT's great that you have Banjo to keep you company :)

All pets are bad hogs given half a chance to do so. Two boxers in our bed just won't cut it so it just doesn't happen... well, okay... it did one time. LOL

Aw...Banjo is trying to keep you company! :-)

I'm sure the week will go quickly, and I'll bet Banjo is just keeping Stanley's side of the bed warm until he gets back! :-)

It will fly by and hubby will be back before you know it.

I'm sure that Banjo just has your best interest at heart. Wade was gone for a couple of night this past summer and I was all excited about having 2 whole days all to myself. Ended up driving me crazy because the house just seemed way too quiet.

Banjo, you're such a sweet Mancat to keep your mom comfy and warm at night while your dad is gone! Our Grandpa from Kansas will be at his place in MO this week which is close to Springfield! Small world!

Oh, oh, girl I know how it is. I have two cats that hog the bed. OR, they just sleep on top of me and I can't breathe. Hope the time goes fast and Stanley is home soon!

When I saw the title of your post I thought something bad had happened. Glad to hear all is well. Jingles usually only sleeps with me during the winter time ... right on my feet or in the crook of my leg. Right now she sleeps with Yusef and hogs his bed. Ha! I kinda like it when my husband travels ... no snoring and I sleep like a baby. :) Have a great week. Tammy

Oh so sorry part of your heart is away. But I'm sure your sweet love keep Stanley warm. And Banjo keeps your bed warm...LOL. The picture of Banjo is so cute!

Whenever The Frenchman is away overnight, my cat joins me on the bed. She's a great cuddler, so I'm happy to have her company.

Good to know Banjo is the man of the house while Stanley is away. :)

Oh, I feel what you're going through. Coincidentally, Doug was just away for work last week for 4 days, too. I don't like being at home alone one bit.
I hope he has a quick return to you! Get lots of Banjo-snuggle-time in. ;)
And stay warm over there in that s-s-s-snow!! Are you supposed to get any of Hurricane Sandy's weather out your way? We're getting the tail ends of it here -- just rain though, no snow yet, luckily!

J'adore tes photos de coeurs, elles sont superbes. Six nuits c'est long mais lorsque Stanley reviendra, ce sera une joie immense, et puis il y a le chat qui va rester auprès de toi. Bonne soirée Catherine. Biz. Cricri
