Chia Like It A Latte

No,
not the snow that is dumping on us this morning.
That's not what 'chia like a latte'.

Our Thanksgiving is over the first weekend of October,
we usually have snow by the end of October,
and you people wonder why I start
thinking about Christmas decorations so early....

It's my homemade Chia Latte that
Chia like a Latte!

(sorry...just couldn't resist...)

Strong chia tea
1/4 cup unsweetend soy milk (or skim milk)
2 tbsp of reduced sugar French Vanilla creamer
whip that up with a milk whipper
(I bought a milk whipper for $6.99 this weekend!)
top it off with a little extra cinnamon
and you have yourself
a hot 'feel good' beverage for these
snowy mornings.

Only 2 Weight Watcher's points!  :)

Now...
if only I didn't have to go out into that snow
to go to work this morning...

We heard there's snow on it's way to Cornwall... But I'm not going to get too excited!

Love the sound & look of your drink, I might try veganizing it...

Stay warm!

Kay :)

Snow? Yowsa! I remember snow falling one time on Halloween waaay back when I was a kid in the 70's... We used to get actual snow, but we usually get ice, now-a-days... I miss snow! I don't like ice! =)

As pretty as the snow looks, I know it's also a pain. Be careful driving in it!

Hi Catherine, Hope you had a good week. We went to Ohio with friends and did LOTS of hiking.

We are in the midst of Autumn here --with leaves coming down bigtime.... Not sure I'm ready for snow yet --even though I love it.

Have a great day.
Hugs,
Betsy

That drink looks really yummy...but the snow....cringe:(

We seem to be getting rain and more rain and wet leaves everywhere. It's messy.

The lady hasn't had Chai tea in a long time. She's going to try that recipe. Thanks!

I wish I had your snow! We still have the a/c on. :)
I will be trying your tea soon as I get some cool weather. Is that all the ingredients? Seems easy enough. :)

I'd rather stay home with the tea than go out in the snow. I'm still not ready for winter but it looks like I need to start facing the fact that it's almost here.

It was a bit of shocker waking up to the white stuff this morning, although I've been psyching myself up for a while. I'm grateful that I didn't have to go out in it for any other reason than to play with my dog who absolutely LOVES snow.

I'm not a chai fan...there's a spice in it I can't identify that I just don't like. A hot cup of green or peppermint tea warms more than my heart on a wintery day.

Brrrr! It makes me cold to look at it! But oh the tea sounds so good. I'll have to try that. Thanks Catherine!

Dearest Catherine,

Your Chai tea looks delicious and sure is good together with snow. Love your car with the latte top.
Hugs to you and stay warm.

The tea looks great, but you can keep the snow. We woke up to a light dusting this morning, but it all melted by lunchtime.

And finally this year, I got my winter tires on the car before the snow fell for the first time. Maybe I'm a psychic!

Nevertheless it does look incredibly beautiful, Catherine. That beverage is amazingly suitable for such a weather. I only hope we'll have to wait a little longer for snow here, in Eastern Europe. Have a great day at work Catherine.

Yes I can understand all that snow might make you think of Christmas.
If it snowed like that here I would think 'end of the world'.
Your drink looks very inviting but I think I'll stay with my Earl Grey. XO
