You Look Marvelous!

Banjo
sitting at his usual perch
waiting for his timed food dish to go off

he was NOT a good kitty at the vet's on Friday
as per usual

but on the good news...
he's down to 16 lbs

svelte I would say!!

Especially when you remember
he used to weigh 30 lbs

I know...
not healthy!!
Poor kitty!

But look at you now Banjo!
You look MARVELOUS!

Cats...
such self-confidence...

Happy Monday!

OMC, I don't think I knew Banjo had been so obese! Seriously. Wow. Down to 16 pounds is fantastic, and worth just one teeny tiny treat. :-)

Well done Banjo you look wonderful. Bet you were a good boy at the vets and Mummy is saying that to make you look bad. LOL :) Lots of hugs Anesha

good for you Banjo(y), our poor kitty died of his weight a few years ago, it's hard for Mommies not to feed kitty every time they cry, that and forgetting to close the dog food bag which tastes so much better than cat food

Yes Banjo, you look marvelous!

Wow.. just wow. that photo of Banjo on a harness..

Such a great job getting him down to almost half his size (he should contact the magazine People for their half their size issue) he does look so much healthier! And maybe I'm projecting, but he looks happier too.

Awesome news, Catherine. How did you/he do it? Losing from 30 pounds to 16 is a huge task... Obviously, you are not starving Banjo--so how did you/he do it????

My sister-in-law had a big dog which just kept getting bigger and bigger.. The vets kept telling her to help Molly get that weight off --but nothing was done. Molly died not long ago...So sad.

Hugs,
Betsy

Banjo, we think you've always been handsome but we do like your svelte self! Both you and your mom are looking good and skinny!

Oh Banjo, I'm glad vet visit is over now. It's okay not to be a good kitty as vet office is scary enough :-)
You do look much healthier and more handsome now than when you weighed 30lbs. Goro needs a little diet, too..

Looking good Banjo

Ahhhh.. Banjo looks so cute. The diet paid off.. Happy Monday to you my friend..

Wow..he looks really good Catherine. What do you think was the culprit when it came to him putting on so much weight? Did he have free range to dry food only? It's my experience that too much dry food anytime throughout the day causes the weight-gain.

Lin said...

what caused his weight problem? And how did you solve it? Hobbes gains anytime we have to put out the regular food for Grace. The low cal made her lose too much weight, but now he's fat again. Ugh.

Banjo looks GREAT! But he was a bad boy at the vet??? uh oh. Not good.

Nancy Claeys said...

He was a bit of a chunky boy, wasn't he? He must feel alot better now. :)

SweetMarie said...

I'm so sorry to hear Banjo wasn't good at vet, but he sure is looking good! Absolutely handsome he is!

Eileen said...

Way to go, Banjo...you are an inspiration to kitties and their parents too! We're sure it wasn't easy, but dahling, you look simply marvelous!

Oh my! Banjo was quite a big boy back then. So glad to see that he has lost half his weight. Good boy Banjo! Best wishes to you all, Tammy

Holy cow, that is a big difference! Way to go, Banjo! You look mah-velous!!

Katy Noelle said...

I love Banjo's surprised look in the chubby picture of him on the chair - heehee! =]

Cat's and toddlers are the epitome of 'cool', aren't they? A toddler could be covered in spaghetti sauce and drool with a droopy diaper and still be as confident as the summer day is long. Too bad they can't carry that poise with them into the Jr. High teen years. =/

What a fantastic (and healthy) transformation! Way to go Banjo! I'm feeling slightly bad for teasing you earlier in my visit. Hugs?
