NOTE to BLOG Friends with 'word verification'
whether I use my iPad, Mac or PC, I can not pass through
your word verification.  I have tried several times.
I used to be able to,
but can't now for some reason.

Is anyone else experiencing this?

Sorry for not being able to comment on your blogs!  :(

You have a lovely garden Catherine! And I'm sure the animals agree with me. :)
If you see signs of autumn, for me it means spring time is coming soon! ;-)

Oh wow...how fun for you! Love your shots. I can hardly wait for fall to get here now that I'm living in Seattle. I probably shouldn't push it...it will be cold and rainy from then on out. :-) Have a wonderful holiday!

I love how you turn the ordinary, often-seeming mundane things into works of photographic art, Catherine. :-)

And I'm jealous you get 23.5 days' vacation! Holy cr*p, nice! I know you'll have a fantastic holiday.

Heck, I'm excited about taking a mere 8 working days off, starting September 12th. LOL.

P.S. Blogger's word verification is loathsome. Sometimes it takes me up to 6 times to get it, and honestly, it's just not worth it to have to spend that kind of time to leave a few words. People CAN turn it off--Jan from Jan's Funny Farm has written extensively about how to do it, and it was posted on the CB. I don't think I've ever had mine on, but if anyone ever notices a problem, let me know!

OMG you are a lucky woman! The last time I had that much time off, I had to have parts removed. LOL!

How wonderful, 3 weeks of vacation plus! Enjoy your time off and happy anniversary!!!

Love the photos, those melons look terrific. Do you grow them in a container?

With the wind yesterday my neighbours tree shed its leaves...all over my backyard. Time to get the rake out.

Oh you are a lucky lady with all that time off.
Love all your photos. As much as I hate to see summer end I do love the colors of fall

Oh yeah....VACATION!! Hope you have fun!!

I've noticed a lot of fall colors too, but I think they are left over from all that dead and dying from the drought that remains here. I'm not ready for brown in the summer months.

Have fun shopping and enjoying those lovely Autumn colours. As for word verification, I can still get through eventually. when I do I feel so pleased with myself, as if I have just passed a very important exam. XX

Early fall is beautiful and you've captured the spirit. Along with many I've dropped that word verification nonsense. There have been no problems because of it....

Hi, Cat!!! =]

My garden is somewhat faded and definitely worse for wear, too. But it's so lovely, still. and (even though this really belongs in a comment on your most recent post) it was ninety here on Sunday, too!!! (oops! I mean....around 33..ish....) and, no rain for weeks, again. BUT it rained all night long. That hasn't happened since May. =( So, I guess the change of seasons isn't completely bad after all. =/

xxo
