Sandy Toes and Google Chrome

What is it about having your toes in sand?
It just feels so good!

The water was MUCH too cold to stick more than my toes in!

Stanley's sexy legs...

Hope that person has sun screen on!

blue skies
warm sun
no wind

mmmm.... a perfect day
A person doesn't get many of those do they?

Not too much to look at South of the beach is there.

OK...
for the record
Saskatchewan does have some trees ~ see?
This is the North side of the beach.

Let us read the rules...
hmmm....

GAAAAK!
Hate litter bugs on the beach!
Hate litter bugs with glass bottles on the beach!!
Idiots...

Clearly this pup can not read the rules... ;)

I blocked out the young boy that was playing with the dog.
I didn't want to be the 'creeper on the beach'!  LOL!

*~*~*~*~*~*~*

On a side note ~ I lost 3 hours of my life this past weekend due to
Safari and Firefox problems.  I will never get those 3 hours back!
I have now switched to Google Chrome.  Anyone else using it?

And a big Happy July 4th to my U.S. friends ~ have a good one!

Ah, I see you were at the Beach too :) Sorry about those 3 hours lost.

Yes, I use Chrome. It's much faster that Firefox, so it's what I use for the Fuzzy Tales account.

Looks like it was a fun day at the beach. Though having grown up in Gaspe, and then Halifax, "beach" means on the ocean. LOL.

Of course, there are lots of beaches in our area, on Lake Ontario. But somehow without the smell of salt water, it's not the same.

i love the beach and my toes in the sand, and standing in the edge of the water and letting the waves move the sand and bury my toes. we can't go to the beach today because there will be 8 MILLON on just our beach. well, almost that many. 4th of July here means BEACH to the majority of people. we go on off days so there are no people.
i have been using Chrome for about 3 months. i found it a steep learning curve the first 2 days i used it, but love it and never touch Firefox or IE. hubby refuses to give up IE unless it gets to slow, he will use FF but rarely.

What?!?!? No pets on the beach? I loved the pics though!

Looks like a wonderful day at the beach, all the rules and litter aside!

I'm such a Luddite, I have no idea what I'm using...it's what was set up on the 'puter when I bought it and although the kids have added Google Chrome I've never used it.
And silly me, I don't even know how to check, lol!

It seems to be perfect, Catherine, glad you had a wonderful day !
I use both Internet Explorer and Google Chrome, I installed it last year when we had all those problems on Internet Explorer.
Have a nice day !
Hugs,
Sylvia

I Love the view of the south beach, rolling hills really speak to me. I'm serious. I could look at that view for a very long time and never tire of it. It's an interesting juxtaposition next to the lake and against the sky.

Love toes in the sand! I am a Safari user and haven't had any problems yet.

I've heard toes in the sand feels good because you are "earthing"

Looks like you had a great day

I've never been to the beach, but it looks like a fun place to go. I'm a Firefox user and haven't had any problems so far.

Google scares the bajeepers outta me with all of their invasive ways. I know there is no way to avoid them, but I'm not going to subject myself to more of their spying just yet. It's crazy.

The beach looks GREAT! I happen to like the view across the way--I don't have green hills like that here to look at.

Cat as I mentioned before I am a big fan of your photos and I wanted to ask you what kind of photo editor you used for the photo with the cat and the blue flower from your blog banner? Kisses and txs.

There is nothing like the beach no matter how cold the water is! I loved the rule breaking dog having fun too!!

I use Google Chrome--I like it pretty well and haven't had any problems with it--Knock on wood! :-)

Enjoy your day, Catherine!!

Hi Catherine,

i like your beach pictures and Stanley does have sexy legs BTW!
Sk Landing is great scenery even if no trees.

Hey, I have switched over to Google Chrome a few months ago. I am happy with it.

just a note: my comments on my blog are switched off as I am trying to adjust my comments section and not sure if I want to have comments. I love your comments, I will miss those!

so smart to take advantage of that fab day for the beach!

That water looks so inviting... Glad you got there!!!!!

I use both Firefox and Safari --but now have Chrome also. Not sure which I like the best right now... I have found that most of the time, the problem is with BLOGGER and not with any of the browsers.

Hugs,
Betsy

I think it is essential to regularly have ones toes in the sand!!!!

That does look like a perfect day with the exception of a couple rule breakers. I wouldn't mind the dog so much as the litter though.
I read yesterday that Firefox no longer supports blogger and I tried to download Google chrome. Notice I said "tried" I couldn't get it to work and finally gave up

Dearest Catherine,

Sorry that the water was too cold for swimming but boy, Last Mountain Lake is so far up north! Looks like a nice resort though and I'm glad you got to enjoy this. That's what will pull you through the long winters... We both worked in North Dakota and in Calgary, Alberta. Pieter often had to drive in the snow to the mushroom plants in Winnipeg, Manitoba... You're caught in the middle of it. Imagine that ANY sunny day is a God-sent! Enjoy it while you can. By the way, yes I'm on Google Chrome; works flawless and sure, Blogger belongs to Google and they're pushing their own products. They might even bug Internet Explorer and Firefox...
Love to you,
Mariette

Oh Catherine, do enjoy! It appears you don't get too many of such days. We on the other hand get too many and miss an atmospheric densely overcast and soaking rainy day. But... I do LOVE that feeling of toes in the sand - it's pure bliss!
Please kiss that naughty blue-eyed kitty from me :-)

Looks like you had a good day. We leave for the beach tomorrow. I use IE7, but have trouble when I use certain online programs, so I use Chrome then. I have a really wierd computer.

I love those green (mostly) treeless hills! What a great place to swim and soak up some sunshine. I hate litterbugs, too, and yes, I switched to Google Chrome last year for the same reason! But it's actually giving me some problems now. Argh.

Your beach is beautiful Catherine! Love those hills!!
We finally hit a high of 20 degrees today! Yesterday people were wearing winter coats lol!!

I've enjoyed your blog this morning! I switched back to Firefox because I like how I can organize my "favorites" on my sidebar...I can't figure out how to do it on Chrome.
PS Your cat is beautiful, I miss my blue eyed boy.

What a picturesque beach. A beach close to us has a long list of rules similar to that one. They neglected to put on one very important piece of information- that it was a 'clothing optional' beach!!! Mum found out the graphic way when she took our G-ma there for a walk!

Lisa Gordon said...

It looks like you had a great time at the beach Catherine! Sure has been the weather for it (and not much else!!).

I started using a Chrome a few months ago. I quite simply find it faster and easier to use than Safari.

Happy day to you!
xo.

I love having my feet in sand, too. Yes, it feels so good! And when the wave comes and goes...it feels like I am taken into the water with wave, too. It is a very nice beach. So upsetting some people just throw away trash on such beautiful place.
I use Google Chrome, too! I used to use Internet Explorer but began to have trouble blogging. Since I switched to Chrome, I have no problem :-)

Your scenery was absolutely GORGEOUS!! Loved the rolling hills. the water must have blurred the dogs vision and he couldn't read the sign! ha!!
