CATuesday ~ cat haven

A trip out to my friend Shannon's
to visit her many many cats and kittens
always brings me JOY.

There were many kittens but most of them
still to wild to catch.
Shannon's daughter is the resident
kitten 'wrangler and tamer'.
This little one had a sore eye.
Not to worry,
Shannon will get him all fixed up.

There are pups...

There are horses...

There's a horse that thinks it's a dog...

There's baby birds...

But you know it's all about the cats...
This is green eyed Betty ~ she is adorable!

This is Rocky.
He's the resident King.

There had to be at least 30 cats at Shannon's.
All healthy and happy.
She takes very good care of them.
They are fed well,
pampered
and loved.

You can see photos
from my last trip out to Shannon's at

Happy Tuesday cat lovers!

What a bunch of cuties! Constantly smelling like cats the way I do, I find there is nothing like it for attracting other cats! :)

We're glad the cats are being well cared for, hope the vet gives her a discount on the spaying and neutering! :-)

They're all beautiful but the sweet lass with the emerald green eyes that are intoxicating is delightful.
Hope you're staying cool!

Dearest Catherine,

Did check your previous visit and it is indeed endearing to see how they all co-exist. Love does so much and all animals are loyal, they pay back big time.
Love to you,
Mariette

Where does Shannon live with all those cats? It looked like one of the cats had the pretties green aqua eyes. Do cats just get a long automatically? Looks like everyone had fun. sandie

I would love to live like that. You know, like a cat lady...but with space. Lots and lots of space for all those animals.

How wonderful! Shannon sounds like a great lady. I would want to visit often. In fact, I wouldn't mind having a place like that. Such sweet animals. The outside kitties here are suffering so much now because of the heat. I'm pretty sure one of the white ones I've been feeding for awhile went off to die. They are all very feral so I can't touch them, but they do wait for me downstairs to come feed them at least a couple of times a day -- and I make sure there is fresh water. Poor kitties. Wishing you a wonderful day. Tammy
