Trying To Capture a Moment

May is closing in on us
soon to be replaced by June
half the year gone

July and August
always goes quickly
back to September
visions of yellows, reds and oranges

the next 4 days
predictions of rain
frost warnings out for later this week

please forgive me for being behind
on blog reading this morning
but I am going outside to drink my tea
and to enjoy my pinks before I go off to work

I will catch up with you tonight
as the rain falls against my blossoms
sending them away for another year

I know...I cringe at the thought that soon the summer solstice will be upon us and we'll start to lose daylight again. The seasons pass so quickly!

Hope your day goes well. :-)

Oh, GO! Go outside while you can and enjoy the blossoms. I know that I'm doing the same--hanging out in the warm sunshine and the cool grass instead of the computer. :) It's a good place to be!

Hope it doesn't get too cold, wet & miserable... Summer can't be too far away!

The pink blossoms are lovely! Yes, our summers are far too short in this part of the world. We have to get out and appreciate the little moments when we can. Wet flurries forcast in my area tomorrow!

Enjoy the weather and the rain and the colorful blooms! We are in the midst of a major dust storm with orange skies. Ugh! Have a great week. Tammy

Being out amongst those pretty colours is a very wise decision :) We can't get over how much pretty is in your garden, with the flowers and the bunnies and the birds. Wow!

Spring and fall seem to fade so quickly and summer and winter seem to last forever. Why is that? I hope you enjoyed your tea!

The great outdoors beckons me to come join it and play in the dirt too!!! It becomes harder and harder to keep up the blogs as the farm gets busier and busier.

Beautiful picture sweetie!!! You sure captured the moment.

God bless and have a fantastic day!!! :o)
