A wet wet Saturday.
The perfect kind of day to relax
after a busy and long week.
I bought new bananas today
and as someone suggested yesterday
took that bad banana and made
banana chocolate chips muffins!
(shhh...don't tell the boys...they are made with bran and flax...)
And of course
finding a comfy corner of the couch
to lay on
bird watch
and snooze
is always a good idea
for a cold and rainy day.
More rain with predictions of snow for Sunday.
Wash, Rinse, Repeat.
Hmmm... what should I bake tomorrow...

I love everything with banana. Banana chocolate chips muffins sounds yummy! We had heavy rain during the week but it is clear so far this weekend.
And we are definitely not going to have snow...I hope you stay warm!
You should bake Banjo some nip treat crunchies!
everything tastes good with enough chocolate or icecream...even a rainy day seems brighter with a good helping of that, I would send some sun your way, but I'm a little greedy today :)
so you mashed up your PROP and cooked it. great idea. beautiful blue eyes watching me from your post
boy, i'd sure like some of your weather! hot, getting dry. 90s. summer...
Sounds like the perfect day to me! You don't want to be here in Vegas today...90's and our air conditioner broke last night...I'm grateful it's already been repaired..$$ later though.
send some rain my way please.
Yum on the muffins!
Hope the sun comes out and the weather warms up for you!!
Cooking and baking is a comforting thing to do on a rainy day, isn't it? I love to make 'comfort food' on days like that, macaroni and cheese always comes to mind or fresh baked cookies with a nice cup of tea...
Sounds like good use was made of that banana. You might want to remind the snow that it is definitely springtime now!
Mom made banana bread with hers, mmmmmm!!! Banjo looks so comfortable, but snow? Noooo!!!!!
the muffins sound good. I could go for one of those.
Banjo, we love watching you watch birds! Purrs!

I am in love in love in love with your way of surprising magical through the lens of your camera. And your words are just as magical. I am your hugeeeeeee fan, hugeeeeeeee. I love your cat. Might I suggest to make a Tiramisu? I love it and my version of it turned out pretty sad, so I'd love to see it done proper :)>
Yummmmy muffins...rainy weather is perfect for baking.
I do love Banjo's nonchalant pose..."Yes, you're right, I am very handsome."
Enjoy your day Catherine!
Warmly,
Judy x
Oh, I gotta tell ya, a snooze sounds really, really good!
J'adore le mélange : banane-chocolat !!! Il est magnifique ton chat Catherine et la photo de toute beauté. Bon dimanche. Chez moi à 100 km de Paris, c'est de la pluie, des nuages et du soleil !!! A bientôt

*hugs*deb
Humm...oatmeal with brown sugar and maple syrup of course!

Rain I can handle. Snow--not so much. I love to make banana bread out of those brown bananas. Or I toss them in the freezer to use them another day.
Hope it didn't snow by you.
I hope you are getting rain today, not snow. (crossing everything for you)
At my house banana eating has increased dramatically. For a while I would have three of four bad bananas left at the end of the week (and I'd make banana bread) and now I'm having to buy them more than once a week.
oh dear snow ??? !!!! Banana tip :-you can freeze banana's & take them out of the freezer & use them in milkshakes :)
How many times have you been told that you are an incredible photographer. WE love your photos. Every single one.
Oh well ... an afternoon curled up with Banjo would be just fine for me!
The muffin looks delicious!
Can I have one, please? :)
Have a good new week Catherine and Banjo. ;-)
Those look so yummy! I wish I had some of your weather. :)
We had snow Saturday morning...we went back to bed after breakfast.... then in the afternoon, it just melted away and we just did a few other things inside too....but, yesterday, it was lovely..so we picked around in the yard and tried to start my bike....it flooded and now there is a gas leak. always something....today I'll try again... then...I hope to get the for sale sign on it... it is +14C already this morning, and going to +23C tomorrow!! wheeeeee....
A brand new week. My how time is flying these days. Hope your weather has cleared. Sounds like you made the best of rainy days. Mmmmm -- wish I could have some of those muffins for breakfast tomorrow. :) Banjo is so handsome! Have a good week! Tammy
Hope you have some good weather soon!
Enjoy your muffins!
Kay :)
Sounds yummy.. You know someone told me if add flax seeds to your recipes it would help with the hot flashes. So now that I have gone through a whole big bag of flax it hasn't helped at all. I am thinking I need something a little stronger than that. Hee Hee..
Your photos look great my friend. especially the one of Banjo!
Hugs~
Snow? That's just wrong.
Love the photo of Banjo. :)
Sounded perfect until you said "snow." What? Poor Banjo has to be going stir crazy.
Dearest Catherine,
Love Banjo´s pensive ´blue´ eyes. Love to you and have a happy week!
Mariette
Snow???? Wow, a bit late in the season for that... but wouldn't it be pretty to catch some flakes with a tulip bloom??
I love banana choc chip muffins! I make mine with oatmeal and flax and my guys love them too.
As for the weather, we have had snow, hot sunny 26C, and now looks like Mr. Snow is coming back for another visit on Thursday! BLAH!
I just finished eating banana bread - all things banana are YUM! ;o)
And Banjo you are sooooo handsome!!!
May I have some, too??? Yummy!!!
Kiss
