Sure Signs of Spring

Yesterday morning was spent
looking for sure signs that spring was really here.

I needed proof.

It appears all the Canadian Geese are home.
That's a good sign that spring is here.

Sparkles of sunlight on water.
That's a good sign that spring is here.

Sweet duck mates sitting on a nest.
That's a good sign that spring is here.

Purple flowers glistening in sunlight.
That's a good sign that spring is here.

Were these things enough to confirm that
spring was really here to stay?

Hmmmm.....

yup...
it's spring.

  20. Ha-ha! You are such a hoot! I'm sure I say that all the time. :) Believe it or not, we actually do have a golf course, but golfers have to take advantage of it during the winter season (just like with baseball which just ended). Your images of spring and its arrival are gorgeous! Happy day! Tammy

BUT.....you know that whenever I put the patio furniture out, it is guaranteed that we have not seen the last of the snow, and that big ol' Spring snowstorm could be lurking just around the corner!
