Laugh With Me

People who cannot find time for recreation
are obliged sooner or later to find time for illness. ~ John Wanamaker

Now isn't that the truth?

No matter how busy I am
no matter the mood
I must always find time to laugh during the day.

Lot's of time, it's at myself.
'Cause I like to think I'm funny...

Sometimes I wonder if it's at the detriment of
being seen as not working hard/fast enough.
And when I say 'wonder',
I'm not saying 'worry'.
For I won't be stopping anytime soon.

One of my favourite scenes from Pride & Prejudice:

Elizabeth Bennet: Are you to proud Mr. Darcy? And would you consider pride a fault or a virtue?
Mr. Darcy: That I couldn't say.
Elizabeth Bennet: Because we're doing our best to find a fault in you.
Mr. Darcy: Maybe it's that I find it hard to forgive the follies and vices of others, or their offenses against me. My good opinion, once lost, is lost forever.
Elizabeth Bennet: Oh, dear, I cannot tease you about that. What a shame, for I dearly love to laugh.
Caroline Bingley: A family trait, I think.

Have a happy weekend my dear friends.

And please make time to laugh.

even in the worst of times, we always laugh. our dogs keep us laughing when nothing else does and we laugh at each other every day, we are both getting worse with memory each day and instead of fretting, we make fun of each other and laugh about it. i like blog that make me laugh, and pets on blogs always give me smiles and laughs and giggles.
last night i watched a rerun of Sheldeon learning to drive on Big Bang theory, i was propped up in bed, waiting for hubby to come to bed and i laughed until my face was wet with tears. so count me in on laughing.

Laughing is so important... If I didn't laugh at myself --I'd probably be crying all of the time... All of us humans are imperfect ---but that's okay.. Why not just laugh at ourselves and at others.... Laughing is good for the soul.

Have a great weekend.
Hugs,
Betsy

Dearest Catherine,

Oh, at times I can laugh at myself too, or at a funny situation I'm in. It is great and the best medicine out there. Have a wonderful weekend with you family, including Banjo.

Laughter is the best medicine and since I crack myself up I laugh frequently. However I sometimes laugh alone :)

Weep and you weep alone"
Weel as long as the world is laughing with me and not at me I'm OK. My cats and cat blogs make me laugh.
Have a great weekend. XO

Love Pride and Prejudice. Poor Mr. Darcy, so dour and serious. :-) Beautiful cat photos! Stopping by from the a-z challenge! Come see me!

oh dear, Mr. Darcy sounds like me, my good opinion once lost is lost forever, well, maybe not forever but for a really long time. Friday ended poorly at work, I am prepared to bring a letter of resignation, perhaps I need to forgive their follies first. Is is Pride or Prejudice?
