We have the full on beginning of spring - a total surprise! Even though it's still chilly and blustery - green grass - leaves slowly budding out - spring peepers. but, it's a bit confusing - we really don't know what time it is!
Have a pleasant day, Cat! Can you just find spring in your heart? ;)
'Spring in our hearts' just isn't quite the same as the full on, "God's in his heaven and all's right with the world!", literal sproingy type of spring, is it? =D
Fun things we LOVE and we look 'eagerly' forward to happy times. That makes it appear to come slow... Other winter related things we dread; literally. Love to you,
Hahahahahah!!..you are so nice person...always a smile on my face for you.....it will be spring.....have a little faith darling.....it wil come also for you !!...xxx...
Winter is like death and taxes... always waiting in the wings. Now Spring on the other hand might fall under the saying, 'good things come to she who waits.' Have a wonderful Easter and easy on the chocolate bunnies. Susan x
I've had enough of the hot weather here and all the unwanted guests it brings. I want autumn to start, please take the hot weather NOW. XO Oh dear! I'm starting to sound bitter and twisted but I think you know what I mean!
Not that I want to rub it in BUT. It is beautiful here in the desert. But you can bet that I will be singing a different tune not long from now. I have a sneaky feeling its going to be one HOT summer.. Really not looking forward to that..
Yeah....why is that? Is it because we live in Canada? Is it because it is April, and there is a Spring storm warning with many centimeters of snow in the forecast? Is it because there are still patches of snow on the ground, and I won't see a green shoot until at least mid May???
Gorgeous image. Don't have an answer to your question. I've been trying to teach myself contentment no matter what the season! It's not always easy... ;o)

We anticipate pleasant things (spring) and want to put off/deny a\unpleasant (winter)...??

Because we're so anxious for all the beauty spring brings! :)
I dunno. By the time the cold arrives, I'm sort of ready for it. And that first snow?? Divine!
After that...I'm ready for Spring. :)

Much like we grow tired of summer's heat and welcome the cooler days and nights of Autumn... such a cute pot and dragonfly. :)

That's a good question, but don't worry, you still have some warm and sunny months ahead! ;-)
A rhetorical question, I presume?
;-D

This is so true. We've been enjoying an very early spring this year, but tonight we are under a frost warning. UGH!
I wish it weren't rhetorical, because I really want to know!
