Yikes. I'm afraid of the same scenario. We're weeks ahead of schedule and a killer frost... yikes.
oh no, spring sprung and then retracted??? poor you.
OOps! Sorry Catherine I think we stole your spring. Will send it back when we are finished with it. :-)
I am concerned about the same thing happening here but I guess the point is to enjoy whatever nature brings us each day....I am glad your flowers are still alive....You go girl....
Hahaha, I wish I could keep spring (and summer) here forever. :)
I don't know where it went wither but Summer showed up here!
That's the problem with an early spring there still might be some snow lurking out there. Hope your other plants bloom again!
Can't belive you got snow! Stay warm. Hugs Anesha
It's over here but I'll send it your way in a bit. (Well, maybe....)
This is what concerns me here, with our +17C and +19C temps...If we get a freeze, and that's certainly not unheard of into April, our gardens will be toast, so to speak.A handful of years ago or so we had very warms temps at the beginning of April, then a sudden freeze. Most of my perennials didn't make it--and a great many people lost many/all of their plants too. Here's hoping for moderate Spring temps!
well, dang! but i love your header!
Ontario stole it!It's raining here but the sun is shining!Happy First Day of Spring Catherine!Pamela xo
Yay for the yellow flowers! We had a front come in full of thunder and lightning last night - it dropped temps 20 degrees, but that means it went from summer back to spring!
It's very foggy here. I guess it must be the temperature changes. One minute it's warm and then it's chilly. They claim we won't be getting any more snow.
Surprise! :) I wonder how many other folks will have that same scenario. It's been unusually warm in so many places. Have a great week. Tammy
Glad your flowers are surviving! After a fairly mild weekend here - it's gone cold again too, can't believe it's the first day of spring...Kay :)
I think darling....spring is here in Holland...we have great weather !!...sorry...i will send it back you...love Ria...xxx..
It slipped this way! Don't worry ... it will return.
Holy Cow.... SNOW????? Gosh--It's almost 80 degrees here today and feels like Summer... Everything is blooming here --so I just pray we don't get anymore snow or frost this year!!!!Relax and enjoy the snow... Hopefully it won't last long.Hugs,Betsy
We don't have Spring anymore either..now we have summer. It is so hot that we were sweating on our walk. Geeeesh! No complaints here although it is disturbingly beautiful. Hugs, Deb
You are JOKING!!! Aaaack! Poor Cat! But, I'm sure it will be short lived and leave the ground greener than it found it.If you can believe it....27C today! All that I can say is, usually, the first day of spring is more like a cruel joke for us - you, too, I know.Well, hang in there!;)xxo
I think your spring is hanging out here with ours because it was seriously nice here today, more like summer.I'll send it back to you :)
Such a pretty photo! Our spring hasn't arrived yet so we're waiting patiently. Hope all this rain makes everything really pretty when it does get here!
Oh no! That means it's coming my way. We're in the mid 20s right now, and it's supposed to cool down by the weekend. I will probably cry if snow comes back! We don't have the lovely flowers you do yet (we're behind for spring).I actually can't complain though. This is early "nice weather" for us. We don't usually get this type of heat until May or June in Sudbury. I'm totally being spoiled.Don't worry though, Cat, it'll be back! :)
Sorry to hear about the white stuff! Glad your flowers are still pretty!
Oh no, Catherine! We are still having very very unseasonably warm weather here. Temp records have been broken for 3 days in a row now, but it sounds like it will be changing after tomorrow. No snow though I hope!Your photograph is so cheerful and sunny!
Oh no! I'm thinking down here we are going to go straight into summer with these temps!
Dearest Catherine,Unreal! We went to Atlanta today for some shopping (food, to stock up our pantry!) and the temperature shown was 30°C. We fell from winter (heavy frost that killed (browned) all our magnolias straight into summer. Weird weather!Glad your yellow flowers were living happy with you and decided to stay for a while... to cheer you up.Love to you,Mariette
March is so fickle. Hopefully Spring returns soon!
oh no!! but fortunately your flowers are still alive. =Dgiving you a warm big hug from Indonesia. Have a beautiful day!
NOOOOOO! Please tell me it isn't coming here too! :(While I like the warmer weather, this 80's all week stuff is CRAZY! And I'm burning up. I think I can wait another month or two for this, but SNOW??? NOOOOOO!
Boo, snow! But your flowers are still lovely. :)
And what happy flowers they are.. SNOW! REALLY!!!
Down here we had a cooler day and I'm in HEAVEN. Summer's long enough.Canadian summers? The Best! More snow to melt for all those posies you'll be seeing for months to come!xo
You cannot trust Spring. It's one day beautiful, one day cold. One year my daughter and her friend went to the pool, got a sunburn and the next day it snowed, huge flakes. Can't trust spring! So glad the yellow flowers are still alive! Good job! :)))
Hooray for the yellow flowers!
Snow? Oh my! Our spring disappeared too, but we got summer (it's hot already *sniffle* :oP
We were spared that last big dump... Was way east of us. However, I awoke this morning to white stuff falling from the sky. Springtime in the Canadian Rockies....not really a season here. I will just wait for summer.
For us it is beautiful, the sun shines! PHOTO BEAUTIFUL, BEAUTIFUL FLOWERS! SURE A NICE DAY!
We have wonderful spring weather here, Catherine, wish I could send you some !The yellow flowers look great !Nice weekend,Sylvia
