Do you ever give yourself a
"ME" weekend?
Both son and hubby are busy all weekend.
I will basically have the house to myself for the next two days.
(well...I guess kitty will be here with me...ha!)
I have big plans for myself:
Long hot baths
Laying in bed watching movies
Catching up with blog friends
Get creative in my craft room
Taking myself on a photo shoot
No house work.
No laundry.
No making meals.
Nothing.
Me me me...
Do you ever spoil yourself?
Do you think it's selfish?
I don't know.
I truly believe that you must
take care of yourself in order to
properly take care of others.

Amen, indeed. I will give myself a "me" afternoon, sometimes a whole day, but that usually includes something productive like housework. It's rare to for me to do nothing, I feel I've wasted the day. Crazy.

Oh my gosh - no I don't think it's selfish at all - I think it's a great idea and something women should do as often as they can - lol - which won't be that often. I think it makes us healthier and happier when everyone is united. I have done it - not often - and it felt great. sandie

you have just described my every day days... I am retired and just hubby and me and 2 dogs. i treat me every day. but i did not do it when i was working and when the kids were home. and i should have. i think it is very important to have a ME day. i spent my entire life not having days for ME, now i do it all the time.

Well I haven't had a whole weekend. But a couple of days ago I sat my bottom on the couch all after noon and watched movies. One of them was P.S. I love you! I started crying and didn't stop till the movie was over. when hubby got home and he was wondering what the heck had happened.
Just a movie day!! I do hope you enjoy your weekend.. And I really like the way Buddha think too..
