Bubble Time Is NOT Fun Time

Banjo's recollection of playing with the Catnip Bubbles
that I bought for him in Regina last weekend.

"Hey!  Fun!  Take that you bubbles!  Mmmm...
you smell good bubbles!  I like this game!"

"Oh look...pretty!!"

"Too many!  Too many!  Go away bubbles!"

"GAAAAAK!  My Eye My Eye!!!"

"It's all fun and games until someone loses an eye!"

"I shall turn my back on you."

"You are boring me mother."

"not interested..."

"you are wasting your breath..."

"no really...give it up already..."

"not even tempted..."

"Go away mother so that I may sleep, and take those
stupid bubbles with you."

Wishing you a bubble free Monday!

  2. Hahaha! I LOVE his little crabby face with the bubbles! Poor Banjo--he just wants them to go away so he can nap in the sunshine.

Do they really smell like catnip??

Our catnip is coming up in the garden--I should send you some. Do you have some out in the yard?

  4. LOL! Wonderful photo series of Banjo. Both my boys are scared of bubbles. Derry I can see, but even Nicki is, which surprised me.

Happy Monday--and Banjo, we hope your day and week is bubble-free!

  16. I had a black lab that LOVED bubbles. As soon as you'd start blowing them she would go crazy jumping up to catch them (with her mouth). It was hilarious!

  36. ROFL, sweetie! Poor Banjo - from grins to grumpy so quickly. And as always, Catherine, your photos are just amazing!

  37. Well it looks like the bubbles were fun until they started to attack. I don't blame you Banjo, bubbles in the eyes are no fun.

I was planning to get some of the catnip bubbles next time I go to the pet store but after seeing Banjo's reaction I'm not sure. Oh heck, why not?

  38. Get him a cardboard box. My cats always seem to find endless fun with them.
He doesn't have to like the box, but it will make a place to hide from the bubbles...
    I see Winter is back!

  46. Banjo -- if your momma did not obviously love you so much, I'd have to go all the way up there to Canada to adopt you and make you our 3rd cat.

And tell your momma, her floors are nice and clean! She want to come mop our tiles too? :)

    xo
