A Bit of This, A Bit of That

Oh Sunday evening

how I usually dread you.

But not this Sunday as I have tomorrow off!

Woot woot!

It's my birthday!

I booked it as a holiday.

I'm a strong believer that

one should not work on their birthday.

Just because.

Friday was spent in Medicine Hat,

shopping with my friend Michele.

(Thank you again for lunch my friend!)

 A visit to Teaopia resulted

in a purchase of 4 sample teas.

Chocolate tea?

Now that sounds enjoyable!

(haven't made any yet ~ I will tomorrow)

There were some terrific sales on.

I was in need of a new house coat.

Michele was trying to talk me into

this 'sexy' little number...

ummm....yea...no I don't think so Michele...

Saturday was spent puttering around the house all day.

I planted some sunflower seeds.

I hope they grow!

Saturday night was spent at Wayne's hockey tournament supper/dance

and being the designated driver for my son and his friend

and for Wayne as well.

I did not get to sleep until 2:30 am.

Needless to say, I was very tired this morning.

But somehow I got a second wind and cleaned my house.

No snoozing for me today.

Not like someone I know...

Tomorrow's birthday plans?

A lazy morning in bed,

watching a movie and 

drinking a cup or two of tea.

Birthday supper at Original Joe's with my boys.

And perhaps a tiny slice of birthday cake???
