Now That's Good Stuff!

When I met up with blogger friends
Becca and Linda in Las Vegas
the other weekend
Becca had a couple of gifts
for Banjo and I.

(((Thank You Becca!!)))

Again, I do not know what kind of 'nip'
goes into the cat toys down in the United States
but it seems to have a much better
affect on Banjo than any of the ol' Canadian stuff.

Let's just say it's a good thing it's a dog
at airport security and customs instead of a cat...

otherwise
Banjo's gift would have been confiscated!

P.S.  We have extreme windchill warnings out this morning.
-46c (-51F)
Me thinks I will be wearing my 'long johns' to work this morning.
That's a bit nippy.....

Dearest Catherine,

Wow, hope you all manage to stay warm! I only ONCE lived through -40°C in North Dakota in January while working there for a week. It caused me a 6-week bronchitis. Not for a million will I ever go back to such cold...
Banjo really LOVED his catnip toy. Such a happy face and sniffing it all out, checking ALL of the gifts. That is their book of 'reading' where their loved ones have been.
Love to you and stay warm girl!

Wonderful kitty gift... our kitties love those things ;-)... wow -51° is c.o.l.d! We're having an unusual snow storm here in western Washington... just below freezing and about 8" on the ground in Seattle...

Wow, that's a cold one. It's been really chilly here too - but we haven't seen windchills that low yet this year. We're at -24C today, which isn't exactly unmanageable, but I'm still hibernating for now!
Hope your day hasn't been too 'nippy'! ;)

Oh Catherine! We just got home from Seattle and I saw your cute little video and it just made my day! That is so clever how you did that! I'm so happy you and Banjo enjoyed your gifts. It was so fun to get to see Banjo with it! I got to experience that "Canadian kind of weather" in Seattle for a couple of days! We are now back home to 59F and sunny. Stay warm my friend!

Oh wow, I think you should put on 2 or 3 pairs of long johns. That's cold.
Love the video and Banjo sure is enjoying his present.

Look at Banjo! It must be a really good nip!! I agree, it is a good thing that dogs work at the airport and not cats... :-)

Sounds like it is extremely cold there!! Make sure to stay warm!

Brrrrrrr!! I hope your long johns are going to be warm enough!
I know the cat nip we get up here in MI is very potent, my cats were playing with the cat nip toy tonight, that was made 2 yrs. ago for our humane society bazaar. I know they're potent because I sew them shut, and by the end of the night, after sewing over 350 of them, my lungs were ready to explode!

Lucky Banjo!
Here (in Sao Paulo) we never have negative temperatures, and I think our winter is too hard for me... Keep warm my dear friend. ;-)

I've been thinking about you as I watch the weather on the news these days.
I can't even imagine what -46 feels like...it's gotta be painful!!

I wish I could go inside a cat and see what it feels like to experience catnip. It's such a mystery to me.

Stay warm! Drink lot's of hot drinks!

That was fun ... great video and music! With that wind chill, I would never get out of bed!

My children are disappointed this morning, it's only -39 windchill, they were hoping for the magic -43 when the buses stop. Maybe tomorrow kids. Help, my feet are still cold.

Lucky Banjo - our kits love catnip!

That sounds very cold - it's 7C here & I've still got 6 layers on & my hands are frozen...

Hope you are surviving!

yowzers! That is waaaaayyyyy too cold for me. Bundle up and stay warm. I can't get the video to work for me but I'm sure Banjo loved his gift. When Val sent the crocheted mouse for Jingles from Louisiana filled with catnip, she had a field day. :) Best wishes for the weekend, Tammy
