I'm Ahead - That's Not Good

I think I have the 'mid-February blahs'
and it's only the end of January.

I appear to be about 3 weeks ahead of myself.

That's not good...

P.S.  The band from Dr. Hook was excellent Friday night.  Ray "Eye Patch" Sawyer
the last original band member...ummm...I shall be respectful and give no comment.

Dearest Catherine,

Well, it takes some perseverance for coming out of winter, especially winter like yours. Hope you will perk yourself up with a good tea and knowing that others care!
Love to you,

Mariette

Misery loves company and I am with you on this one. I can't wait for Spring. We have slushy snow everywhere and not a sign of sun. Bwaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa! Hope you find something fun to do today and have a great week. Hugs, Deb=^..^=x4

Oddly, I feel the same way and we really didn't even get "winter" until after the new year. Let's all hope for an early Spring!

Put on some music, grab that sweet Hubby of yours and start dancing...
You'll be so busy giggling you'll forget all about the blues.
Five more days till Groundhog Day, we'll see what he predicts!
Enjoy your Sunday!

We thought Spring had arrived here yesterday... But today's been so cold, wet & dark - we've just sat around doing nothing much at all!

Have a good week Catherine.

Well I am too and I think we should just go ahead and start Spring!

my blahs start beginning of January and don't end until spring

Cat, I think the older we get, the less tolerant of the elements we become! I don't know...it just seems like that! I am ready for summer already and we've had a very mild winter...hang in there :)

WEll I hate to be the "Different View" of this , but I could still use a couple more months of winter. We have not gotten enough snow yet this year to make me feel the winter blues.

How about you send your winter weather our way and we will send you our spring like stuff.

Because of how I feel and the other comments, its easy to see that you are not the only one feeling this way. I was ready for January to end by about the 2nd! :-)

I get it, I've sorta got the blahs too. I've been sitting on the couch watching crap on TV instead of blog hopping. I'm just bored. Really bored. Bored with work, TV, the internet, and myself. I think I need to join the pool and force myself into going a couple times a week.

I can't figure out if I'm ahead or behind. The first week of January we had a 70 degree day and today we got up to 62. In between we have had snow and way too much freezing rain. Hang in there!

BeadedTail said...

Maybe that means your spring will come early! :)

I'm right there with you. I think it's the weather. We can blame it on global warming. lol

Susan said...

Me too! I have the blahs really bad!

Chatty Crone said...

Well I gotta be a little opposite then you - we are having a great winter here - it has been much warmer than normal. Not sure what that will do to spring and summer though. Hope the blahs go away fast. sandie

I wish we had some cool weather. I actually get tired of the heat.
As for blahs, I try to ignore them. :) Hope you can ignore yours as well.
Hope you have a great week!

It amazes me that with all that snow and dark you still go out at night!!! I'm sure I would never leave my bed.
I read Sara's key, very sad, I didn't see the movie.
HOT and very humid here. XX

It's difficult for a band to carry on after the main member is no longer around. I hope it was fun, anyway.

Hang in there -- soon we'll be blogging about flowers and birds and other pretty spring things. :)

So sorry to hear you have the Blah's my friend.. You could always come back to Vegas.. Maybe that would help! Hee Hee... I have a little jet lag myself.. Just got back from Oregon late last night.. Can't seem to get to motivated...

So sorry you've got the blahs now.... I probably would too if I was up in the forever snow country like you...

However, it's only gray here today... no more snow. Blue sky was here yesterday and that gives me joy which lasts through the gray days... (well, at least for two of them!!) haha

ilovemyhouse said...

Hang in there my friend, everybody has the blahs sometimes. Grey, grey, grey thats the favorite color of this month and next month. (this makes you feel better hé :))

I'm thinking March as it's supposed to hit 50 here today on the Tundra. Unbelievable for January.

I guess you want February to be gone very quickly :-) I hope winter ends soon and spring comes...though, the winter has been very mild here in Georgia. I kind of miss cold weather!

Banjo in the big comfy chair is hysterical!

I read about that horrible week and felt so much for you...they come they go....I just think that I forgot to leave a comment....ummmm, oops - heh.heh.

and, now, have you completely forgotten about it? =]

So those are my cheery 'hellos' for the day. I hope the rest of yours is lovely. I think that I might just stir myself and go get ready for church, now...
