Banjo looks so peaceful. Hope he has forgiven you for leaving him while on holiday.Skipper normally takes a day or two. :) Thank you for your sweet comments, hope you find the tape. Have a great day. Hugs Anesha
great photo, so sweet. I am on the sofa and have to dog nappers napping beside me right now. the joys of being retired.
Don't our cats have great lives!? Sometimes I'm jealous :-)
Well said, Catherine !Banjo is so cute !Hugs,Sylvia
I'm totally coming back as a cat! Hopefully not as a stray!
Banjo would be more than glad to help, I'm sure of it!
Oh yes, the life of a pampered cat, how wonderful.
I'm sure Banjo would help out if he didn't have more important things to do...Kay :)
A perfect winter day for catnapping!
Cats always look so comfortable and rested. Wish I could feel that way! What I need is a two or three cat nap. In a row!Darling picture of Banjo.
That's about how I'm feeling right about now. We just finished up our first week back at school after winter break and I'm pooped. Hope your day is a good one. Tammy
So you hopped on a plane and went to Vegas. Looks like you had a great trip. How fun that you got to meet Becca. She is such a sweetie and so talented. I love seeing her work. Good thing you got to meet her before she moves to Seattle. :)
Banjo certainly has the right idea! aaahhh... the life of a cat!
Banjo looks so comfy! After your trip to Vegas you probably need a couple of cat naps. :)
Blame it on jetlag.Looks like you had a great time in Vegas. And it looks like Banjo is getting ready for the weekend.Hope you have a good one.Susan x
Methinks one of the most common questions for retirees is "are you keeping busy?. Most seem to feel obligated to say "I'm busier than ever!" I tend to say that from the beginning I looked upon Simba (our housecat) as my role model. Follow the sun around the house catnapping as much as possible. :)
Hahaha, cute and lucky little guy! :)
I'm sure Banjo would help you if he could. If we ever go anywhere I always make sure that I have at least one day after we get back home to lay around and do nothing before I have to go back to work
I think they would notice. I mean, does the chair really go up that high? And you'd have to hope that nobody brought tuna in their lunch--it would be a dead giveaway.
Oh Yes... When we come home from a vacation, we truly need another vacation to get over the vacation... ha ha...Tell Banjo to take and extra nap just for YOU...Hugs,Betsy
Dearest Catherine,Yeah, there is nothing romantic about trips and things as we need to catch up on all the work, even the days we were gone. FAIR? No, but we're unfortunately not a cat as they do have their servants!Love to you,Mariette
I always need a few days at home, after a vaca, what was Banjo up to when you were gone?
I love you Banjo! I think we should all get a week off to relax at home after a vacation ;o) xo
How cosy and what a cute name lol.Vacation after a vacation Ive been there too, maybe just looking at all the things to put away and wash, lol.Have a great weekend!
I want to be a your cat in my next life!Hugs, Linda
I hear ya! I also need a vacation :)
You know on these stress tests - they give out points for stress - vacations even fun ones - get points. sandie
I know just what you mean, Cat! I had some extreme happy shock and excitement yesterday (you'll see it, eventually, on my blog) and I can't think straight! I need a nap! Ack!Not long to go, now, for you, though, and you'll be chillin' for the weekend. How pleasant! =]
I'm catching up on your blog and glad that you had a good trip--Despite the mishaps! :-) Meeting blogging friends is really a lot of fun--I've met 3 now, including one from Australia--It's a small world!! I hope you get the cat naps you need!! :-)
Thumbs? That is the only difference between them and us! Never thought of it.
And I bet Banjo could do it! Have a good rest Catherine!
I know what you mean.Banjo would have to have more than thumbs to do my job :))I read about your Vegas trip. I hear you about plane trips...i'm not a happy flyer too dear friend. XX
Isn't that funny? I've said exactly the same thing myself (about needing a vacation to recover from vacation *laugh*). Of course we don't actually go on vacations....Hmmm. Maybe I just need a nap ;o)
Banjo has the very BEST idea for a cold and snowy day!Wishing you a delightfully peaceful weekend Catherine!Hugs...Judy
If you figure out how to get Banjo to cover for you, let me know so I can get my Gelly on board! Lol...Love your snoozing shot of him...Why don't you come enter it in my 'Weekly Top Shot' meme? We're on Week #13 and I'd love to see you share with me and my readers! Here's this weeks' link: http://www.theviewfromrighthere.com/blog/?p=5870
I bet handsome Banjo missed his family.
Wouldn't it be great to be a cat and sleep all afternoon, EVERY afternoon?? Oh, that would be nice. :)
