I couldn't agree more...love the inset of the flower over the other photo...how did you do that?

I agree. If we are not going to have snow days, it might as well be spring.

oh good try Catherine! I don't know if the "weather angels" above heard you, but I bet they can't miss these bright beautiful yellow fresh flowers on this post!

We got spoiled and now...whammo!! We too are -27C this morning....with ice crystals....looking at snow over the next few days..... oh, man..... I hope spring is not late too....it will be long enough by April...but, we know it should end about then...if we are lucky..... although, having said that...we know we do get snow into May some years....sigh......

I hope my old van negotiates our slippy streets okay this morning and then I can rest easy.... just have to nip over to the sports clinic.... then Safeway and home to hunker down... maybe do some baking to warm things up a bit more...

Lovely Spring flower. I'm looking for ways to work on my photos. I like the way you layered. Spring will be here before we know.

Well---I won't say that yet.. We haven't had much winter here yet --and I want some winter for awhile before spring gets here.

Maybe I wouldn't love winter so much if I lived where you live... Ya think????? Ha

Hugs,
Betsy

Oh dear... While the rest of the UK has freezing frosty weather - we've had blue skies & sunshine today, so nice we took breakfast down on the beach!

You are so darn creative with you photoshop! You always inspire me. :)

Spring is a long way off here. I don't start thinking about it until April.

silverthoughts2 said...

I'll second that. I miss real flowers.

Sharon K. Mayhew said...

I second that motion! For us, winter started late. We've had record highs and virtually no snow. We are all worried about when it hits what it's going to be like. :(

Sylvia said...

No snow here yet, but I'm looking forward to Spring too, Catherine !
The lovely yellow in your picture makes me happy :-)
Have a nice day,
Sylvia

It has been one of the strangest winters on record here. Night temps were in the 40s, then the 60s, then suddenly plunged into the 20s (brr). Now we're back in the 50s again. *sigh*
I think I miss spring too; although methinks not as much as I miss consistency. What to wear? What to wear?? ;o)

Laurie said...

Amen Catherine!! And I love how you did the picture!

**CREATIVE CARMELINA** said...

Hi Catherine!
We haven't even had much winter to speak of here in Ontario, Canada ...... Yet.

But just in case, could you sign my name onto your post card/letter to Mrs. Spring for me?!!!

Ciao Bella
