I am sorry to hear that he came to visit you, but I would prefer you keep him!
sorry you don't like winter! but i'm thinking you might live in the wrong part of the hemisphere then!great photo, though!
Sorry you were visited by Old Man Winter already. I think he's going to make your next few months rather miserable so might as well enjoy the hot tea and snuggles under the blankets with Stanley (and Banjo too of course!). :)
I live in Georgia trying to avoid that mean old snow and really cold weather.
The sun seems to be laughing in spite of it all. He hasn't arrived here yet which is fine!
I know what you mean. I used to love winter when I was younger, but now, I just as soon it go away. I guess we just have to hope it doesn't last to long eh?
so far he hasn't found us, only his nasty cousin -20c has been visiting, the ground is still sparse of snow, just enough to say Christmas is coming, the only time we really want him to visit is Sunday at midnight, and come with a vengeance then, just enough to shut down the highways so we can all stay home and cuddle on the couch together :)
I hope he reads your blog. There are plenty of nice warm posts on here; surely some of them will warm him up.
ha. not here yet but actually i look forward to him stopping in...i am so ready for a snow ball fight....
Oh no, and is that sun laughing at it all?
In Phoenix today it was about 60 degrees with clear blue skies. For the first time in years, I am glad to bid welcome to winter. But of course, it's so different in the desert.
we could do with some rain but snow we dont need you can keep that.
Good for you, I'm glad you got that off your chest. After ten years in the Great White North I could care less for winter. So far no snow here but soon I suspect.
Love your photo. Can't be much fun having to drive in the snow. Keep warm and safe. Hugs Anesha
Though the old friend Old Man Winter gave Grinning Sun a gift - on the nose and lower lip, Sun continue to grin! We suppose that's the secret to peace, harmony and happiness. :)
The weather does look rather disagreeable. Hope it doesn't make you too unhappy. Stay cozy,Kat
O no !! snow.....i hate it too darling....love love ...xxx...
Gawd's teeth....I hope Old Man Winter holds off here. As in doesn't come at all. Well, I can dream....
I hate winter, but I love snowy shots (I say "shots" because we don't have snow here, maybe 1 or 2 days a year in the south of the country - but never in Sao Paulo)!I hope you keep warm this winter. ;-)
this is about the cutest and happiest old man winter ever... love how the snow puffs him up, he looks like he could blow up a snow storm in a blink of an eye
We got hit with a snowfall Saturday -- it's usually fun the first time around, but I imagine I will adopt your attitude come mid-January. :)
Are you sure you hate him!! Hate is such a strong word.. But if you do I understand completely.. Because I HATE the sun here in the summer.. So Dang hot!! I think we need to move to Hawaii were the weather is always so nice!! Keep warm my friend.. I just love your photo!!Hugs, Linda
I'm TOTALLY with you, Catherine!
Such an annoying visit, Catherine !A lot of snow, last Winter we had already snow in November, at the moment we have some rain and high wind but it's not so cold ...Lovely photo !Hugs,Sylvia
Dearest Catherine,May these comments brighten your snowy days at least a little bit. Winter is long for you, that's a given.Tough to live through with a functioning household as chores will become harder. Thanks for your visits and comments. My cough is only minor now. Today we have a lazy day with daughter Liz and will undulge in a 5-course dinner at Ristorante da Maria.Love to you,Mariette
Oh I am really really dreading a visit from HIM! I hope he doesn't come soon - and if he does come I hope he doesn't stay long!LOVE your pic!!!
Perfect photo for you're post! Sorry you don't like winter. I wish it would get cooler here so I could wear my sweaters and boots. Don't hate me, but it's in the 80's here. :)
Okay i thought Canada and snow kind of went together! sandie
He was a very busy guy this weekend! He overstayed his welcome here.
He is a cantankerous old geezer and I don't blame you one bit for hating him. I'm right there with you and when he arrives here I'm going to tell him so
Oh no! Uninvited guest has come! I hope he will leave soon. You are brave to say you hate him :-) He should hear you!!
Uh oh. And it's only December. We've got a long way to go, pally. I hope you and old man winter make-up.
That is so funny...here in oklahoma we were hoping to get some snow! We just got flurries!Throw a snowball my way, will ya!!
I'll repeat it for you .... I hate him!
I've been forcing myself to find things to love about this time of year. I think I'm finally getting the hang of it... though I will admit - thankfully - we don't have that white stuff like you do!!
Brrrrr. Although I do miss the sight of snow, I do NOT miss freezing temperatures (thank you for reminding me ;o)Stay warm!
I would gladly take that snow off your hands!
You can send him over here - I'd love to have some of that white stuff!Kay :)
And I hereby declare that I agree!
The guessers say we may have snow flurries tomorrow, which I love. I'd hate to have the huge snows you have.
Such a wonderful capture. I love it.
Oh deeeeeear! I'm so sorry that you have so much snow. =( and, here, we are praying for it (well, I'm just hoping to wash the last three little windows - can you believe it? Also, it would be nice to put the Christmas lights up outside; so, I just need a day or two more.)
