It's getting closer!

Hello Monday!

You are such a JOY to see
when I have the day off!

Stanley and I spent Friday afternoon, night and
most of Saturday in Medicine Hat.
Christmas shopping is done!
Whoohoo!

A great big "to do" list for today:
  • Blog post (check!)
  • Catch up with blog friends (so many beautiful blogs!)
  • Wrap presents (Banjo...get out of those bows...)
  • Do a little baking (...that will be given away...)
  • Finish Start Christmas cards (oh my stars - I'm behind!)
  • Finish a Christmas present project (I'm running out of time!)

Hope you all had a beautiful weekend
and I wish you a terrific week!

I'm always impressed by people who get their Christmas shopping done early. Maybe next year...sigh...

Love your little bird.

Caught the flu on Saturday night, spent the day in bed on Sunday, called in sick today, sweating buckets but will take the time to catch up blogging a little today. If you're too sick to go to work but blog, is that cheating? Have a great day finishing your list!

Dearest Catherine,

You got lots of things accomplished already and you beat me on the Christmas card writing. Oh my, each year it creeps up on me and I'm not ready. Holding the last of the year by its tail...
With the visit of Liz we pushed literally everything aside so I had to do a hastily administrative day on Saturday. Feels good for having oversight again. We'll get there, no doubt.
Love to you and stay warm!

Cute bird and pretty cups. We haven't even taken our Christmas card photo, I still have baking to do (to give away) and I still have shopping and always more cleaning. But, it always works out. :)

I'm almost a deer in the headlights, reading your list, but, then, this weird serenity comes over me again... which, it shouldn't! So how'd it go? Did you get a lot done???

I've been busy busy busy getting ready for Christmas - since it snowed on Halloween. Hardly anything is done, though. How does that work???

Cat, I've been smiling and oooing and aaaahing, every time I blipped past this cheery thumbnail on my dashboard. (I was at the portal to blogland but didn't get around much, that day.) Anyway, now, I've gotten the official joy from your very festive image! =D
