Nice With Naughty Intentions

My Christmas tree is up!

Banjo was a very nice boy.
He got quite bored with it all actually.

A sneak peak...

There were people and furry friends
that doubted you could leave the tree alone Banjo.

Now don't get too self-righteous.
There's six weeks to go before
the tree gets taken down...

Hmmmm.....
what do you think?

Will all my Christmas birds go
unharmed for the next six weeks?

Right on! We put our tree up today, too! Yours looks beautiful. I love the little white birdies in it!
Do you have to leave a blank area at the bottom of the tree so that Banjo isn't tempted? I used to have to do that with Yoko in her younger days, but she doesn't have the time or interest in it much any more (luckily!!) ;)

I'm betting on the demise of one or two birdies!

Banjo, if you don't touch (read break) any of those lovely ornaments, you're a far, far better cat than either of us is!

i deleted my comment previously as i was not concentrating on my spelling. I was saying that i don't think your furry feathered birds will all be their after 6 weeks. i have a xmas decoration on my Norfolk Pine and it is a silvery and glitzy bird on a nest and i love it. I also know that it will stay their since i do not have a cat anymore. I always think of 'snowball' when i put a bird ornament out somewhere. I am sure you will post more of your xmas decor Catherine?

I never doubted you Banjo!!!

Oh its a beautiful tree but birds and feathers? That's a lot of temptation for one cat to ignore. hugs to Banjo for being such a good boy (so far)

What a beautiful tree! Judging by that last photo, I'd say the birds are doomed.

I think six weeks is a long time for Banjo to look at feathers and not touch. lol Your ornaments are so pretty! I love the last pic of Banjo...intense stare!

Ha! I'm thinking those birds don't stand a chance. Jingles usually attacks the tree in the dead of night when everyone is snoozing. :) Hope your day is great. Tammy

Once our tree is up, everyday when we come home from work, we find an ornament or two somewhere around the house. We are usually finding these ornaments all the way until about March, and keep a box in the hall closet to store them in. I suggest you get a box.

We're glad you took pictures...we have it on Good Authority that no self-respecting Cat can hold out that long!

I love your tree - the all white. I think that is my favorite!

And I am not so sure about your cat and the birds!

I think a feather or two may get ruffled!
Your tree is beautiful!
Didn't get mine in....found out we are babysitting Lily, my oldests pup, during Thanksgiving. They don't want to leave her alone...so they'll bring her over here to be alone with mine for the day....???hmmm didn't think I wanted to tempt her with the tree, it's her first Christmas and not sure how she'll react. She has energy...bolt twist, jump, bark, tap dance energy! LOL I think they feel she'll be entertained by our two. So actually our Dane and Chihuahua will be the babysitting....hmmm that may be even scarier.
*hugs*deb

Yeah/no. I dunno. I'm thinking that if you dare to put delicious feathery birdie ornaments on the tree, the kitty is just gonna want to eat one....or two. :)

Yep. He's gonna go after them.

Sharon K. Mayhew said...

I think Banjo will get one ornament. :D We were just talking about putting up the tree and how the new kitten might react. I'm guessing Banjo will be more well behaved than Peaches. :)

Amazing photos of your ornaments. Beautiful!

My money says Banjo stays away from trouple this season. :)

Oh, I just adore an all white tree! I do that a lot as I collect white and clear ornaments. Sometimes, I occasionally throw in a color to switch it up, but white always works! Cant wait to see the whole finished tree! Lets hope Banjo behaves!

You're just tempting poor Banjo with those feathers! LOL I think he's really trying to be a good boy! We will be putting ours up tonight...I have a feeling it won't have any decorations this year...Lucy likes to climb things!

Your tree is beautiful. That's my favorite part of Christmas. My mom usually puts up a tree, but this year my 10 month old great-neice and her mom are staying with her. We may forego the tree and just put up the nativity--really high up. :) Have a blessed Thanksgiving.
