Hello November

November...you are:
  • predictions of snow this week
  • a day for remembrance
  • anticipation of decorating for Christmas
  • raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens
  • bright copper kettles and warm woollen mittens
oh....wait a minute...that doesn't seem right...
  • cozy warm sweaters
  • big mugs of hot chocolate
  • snowflakes that stay on my nose and eyelashes
  • silver white winters that melt into spring
hmmmm....clearly I'm getting November confused with something else...

Wishing everyone a
beautiful
wonderful
happy
November!

I love your sense of humour.
Altho I can see how you could get November confused with twirling on top of a mountain! Hahahaha!!
Have a great 1st of November.

Sounds lovely though!

We have beautiful blue skies & warm sunshine in Cornwall today, yesterday it was wet & places flooded round here...

Keep warm!

Just got a dusting of snow here yesterday...first one. I am already looking forward to "silver white winters that melt into Spring!" Although that will be awhile!

I had to scrape frost off my windshield this morning, that plus bus duty, made for a depressing start.

Most enjoyable read, for me November is loosing that hour of sunlight (overnight-wish I lived in Sask) and batten down the hatches everyone, and see what Old Man winter does to us this year.

Happy November to you and less snow than last year's if you so desire. Our Fall came in with the cold and seems to be drifting into November. It's our Thanksgiving month.

October has been a very difficult month...I'm hoping November will bring some joy and peace.

Add me to those who like the statue, and to the list of those wondering just where October went. I felt like I hardly got to know and enjoy it this year!

Oh, the first snow fall and the last of the leaves. It's the first layer of ice on the pond and a "goodnight" to the frogs.

Sigh. We've got a long winter ahead. I'm not ready.

My boots, gloves and sweaters are ready to go. Today was nice but tomorrow will bring rain and wind here and snow on our mountains. The snow will be at our door soon.

Yep, it's November.
