but Wayne, look how she has made us all envious of her, and you are the sparkle in her eye, now get back to work and rub her feet a little too :)

For me, it depends on why I'm keeping track--It can sometimes pay off to look ahead! :-)

Somehow the guys always end up with the count in their favor!

Great post, Catherine. I hate it when people do keep 'count' of what they've done.... I like to do things 'just because' for George and hopefully, he feels the same about me. That's LOVE.
Hugs,
Betsy

Dearest Catherine,

Hope all the rubbing does help you and let's not keep track of those love-jobs!
Enjoy the rest of the week.
Love to you,

Mariette

Hubby always gets home earlier than we do on Thursday because he works half a day. This afternoon he said, did you notice when you came home that the dishes were done? Hmmm, not really, because I couldn't remember if I did them or not. If they are clean, I figure I washed them since I usually do. Why is it that I wash them 1000 times and get nothing, and he does it once, and someone is supposed to acknowledge his efforts. He said he was being a good husband. I told him he would be a good husband if he washed dishes all the time. Ha! Hope your back is okay. Or are you just keeping Wayne busy? Ha! Best wishes, Tammy

Love the quote! Don't always follow it. Hubby rarely keeps track...something else I adore about him. :))

Hee hee! It's not easy convincing men of that! I just asked my hubby if he'd keep track after five nights of back rubs and the answer was YES!

Lin said...

Well, the important question to ask is if HE is counting. :B
