The consequences are brutal but the pie is good...

In taking a short cut
through the wire fence
on the way back to her nest
from the Diddlemyer's
annual Thanksgiving Day feast...

...it soon became
apparent that Lillian
should not have had
that third slice
of bird seed pie...

Happy Thanksgiving
my Canadian friends
and followers!!

Haha! Good thing the eggless pumpkin pie I just made was actually crustless. Only the pumpkin for me. Surely I'll save a few calories.... :-P

Maybe it rained and the fence shrunk while the bird was enjoying Thanksgiving dinner.

I always eat too much stuffing and top the meal off with a second helping of a bun with gravy to dip it in, I could hardly get through my door yesterday, I know how that bird feels
