Swallowing A Little Cat Hair Never Hurt Anyone...

Blueberries running amuck
on my kitchen floor
after accidentally
tripping over the cat who is
ever present under my feet.

Now Banjo...
why are you licking your lips...
you don't even like blueberries.

And yes...
I applied the "5 minute rule"
(as opposed to the 5 second rule)
and scooped them all up
and ate them.

My floor is fairly clean...
sort of...
more or less...
besides...
swallowing a little cat hair never hurt anyone...
I don't think...

;)

*****

THANK YOU for all your well wishes yesterday!
You are all so sweet.

My tooth came out with minimal hassle
and except for popping a few Advil now and then,
I am in virtually no pain!

Heck no, a little cat hair wouldn't hurt. You just can't waste blueberries! I didn't know about your tooth problems, but I'm glad you're almost pain free now!

I apply the 5 minute rule too. LOL. No reason to waste the blueberries!

Glad you're feeling okay after the dental extraction!

I vacuum every single day of my life. I do. People think I am nuts, but I hate stuff on the floor. And being that we have only one floor to our house, all that kitty litter has a way of scattering here and there. So yeah, I would pick them up and eat 'em too--especially at the price of food these days--fur or no fur!!!

I'm fairly certain that I ingest an accidental quantity of cat hair EVERYDAY...just goes with the territory - lol!

If swallowing cat hair was bad, I'd be in a lot of trouble!

Everything seems to be sprinkled with cat hair around here too! Banjo was a very good boy not to bat those blueberries all over the place!

Sorry I didn't see your post sooner and missed sending well wishes about your tooth! I don't know why your blog is delayed in showing up on my reader.

I'm sure we are eating cat hair all the time without even knowing it. Certainly can't let yummy blueberries go to waste. Jingles gets underfoot ever once in awhile and usually voices her dissatisfaction with being trampled. Glad to hear all is well. Best wishes, Tammy

Well now that you have your antioxidants covered I'm sure there was some "good stuff" in the cat hair too :)) I'm pleased to hear the pain is gone from having the wisdom tooth removed. I had all four removed in my early twenties - nope, no wisdom left at all!!

With four cats lounging around at any given moment, I have learned to tell my children that a bit of cat hair adds some fiber to their diet, I would have done the same thing:) Good call!

LOL! Banjo is BAD! Ha ha. Love cats they are ever so clever. A little cat hair never hurt anyone--but a lot is no fun. Have a great weekend.

You are TOO funny my friend! Glad to hear that the blueberries did not go to waste!

Five seconds or five minutes, at my house, if it hits the floor and its edible, it's out of bounds and no longer mine, but the dogs!

I also think that cat or dog hair add some nice texture to any meal! ;-)))

Hi Catherine, Glad to hear that you are better after getting your tooth pulled... That's just NO FUN!!!!

Tripping over a cat is something which seems to happen ALOT.. AND the cats all look so innocent.

Ha ha ha! I don't blame you, I would have applied the 5 second rule too, blueberries are expensive and you can wash them again! Banjo looks like he doesn't know what in the heck just happened. Oo sorry to hear about your tooth, guess I need to go back a post. Ouch!

A cat under foot is a tripped up human for sure... mine does that and so does my dog... I'm going to remember the '5 minute rule...' lol!

Banjo looks so innocent. What's the matter, Mom? Cat hair goes with the territory. My fave berry, wouldn't waste 'em either.
