Happiness On A Monday

Hooray!!
It's Monday!
Hello Monday!
I am so happy to see you!

'What???' you say,
'Is this girl wack-a-doodle???'

Nope,
I'm not.
I'm in pain.

I get a wisdom tooth pulled out this afternoon.

{Why is it called a wisdom tooth???}

It's been hurting me for over a week now
but they couldn't fit me in to the dentist any sooner.

And none of this has anything to do with the photo above.
I just didn't think you wanted to see a photo of my sore tooth.... ;)

Hope your Monday is as Happy as mine is!

Hi There, I'm back after a few weeks off from blogging. Hope you are doing okay. I have missed all of my blogging friends --but needed that break!

Hope you don't lose any wisdom when they pull that tooth... ha ha ... (I had 2 of mine pulled years ago--but still have two...)

Hugs,
Betsy

Those wisdom teeth are totally misnamed...I had mine out years ago and never missed 'em, ha ha.

Ohhhh noooo you got your wisdom tooth pulled out? I got mine (three of them at one time if I remember correct) pulled out while back, and I could eat only soup and jello for a while. I hope your pain will go away soon! It's good, though, not to have wisdom teeth any more :-)

Christine said...

sounds like you will still have one tooth left for wisdom, I had both of mine removed 26yrs ago, maybe that's why I have no sense of wisdom at all

You know, I have worked in a dental office for more than 20 years...But Our "wisdom teeth” are called what they are because they usually appear much later than our other teeth, usually between the ages of 17 and 25 when a person reaches adulthood and is “wiser” than when other teeth have erupted....

Whoops, forgot to tell you to take it easy, and remember to put your tooth under your pillow for the tooth fairy!!! :-)))

As someone famous once said 'teeth are trouble coming and trouble going and mostly in between as well' can't remember who said that but it is true. And sometimes the expense is the worst of it.
Hope you are not in too much pain now. XX

What a great way to start the week. Ha! I had my wisdom teeth taken out when I was about 22. Was having headaches and they were coming in and pushing against the teeth in front. All 4 out at one time. I even have them in an envelope somewhere. Yuck! Wishing you all the best, Tammy

Monday and dentist appointments are both at the bottom of my list of favorites (actually they aren't even on the list) but after a week of having a toothache I can relate to your excitement.
Love the owl in the picture. Is that a pin?

Your blog isn't always showing up in my reader for some reason so I totally missed this! I hope you feel better! I can't imagine dealing with a hurting tooth for a week but I'm glad it's all over now!

Oh man, that hurts. I had one out several months ago. They said I could either be asleep or under local. HA! Are you kidding? Of course I want to sleep through it! I was bruised for weeks. Ouch! Hope you feel better.
