Hello July

Hello July!

Please feel free to stay
as long as you can!

Can anyone believe that
half the year is over?

Or is it that we still have
half the year still left?

Is the glass half empty or half full?

In this case,
I'm going with the glass is half empty.  :(

Bees and lavender, a combination I can't resist- the colour, the scent and the buzzing!
Have a wonderful weekend, Catherine!

Catherine, my sweet friend!
Is that your own images? What a perfect example of the color balance ratio between purple and orange - fantastic images. I hope your July lasts for a very long time (here we will just stay indoor and dwell by the aircondition!).
P.S. You bet I felt that sting of lifes unfairness this week!

The first half of the year went way too fast so the second half needs to go very slowly. Yesterday I made an appointment for a haircut in 9 weeks and that is September 1st! I went into shock right there in the salon! July and August better last forever!

Happy Canada Day!

Such wonderful photos, Catherine.

I have difficulty living in the Present Moment, and after the summer solstice am keenly aware that we now are losing daylight again. I don't mind that...I mind the thought of 6 long months of cold, crappy weather. LOL.

But today is glorious and it's Canada Day...so enjoy!

The year is just flying by. What happened to those days when I was a kid on summer vacation and time seemed to drag on forever

I have to say I like the last half of the year better! We're in the triple digit days here, I can't wait for September.

I had a reality check at work a couple of weeks ago when I was making dental appointments for patients in 6 months realizing we were talking about the end of the year--Where does the time go Catherine? Its been such a nice summer that I don't even want to think about taking out my warm PJ's and toasty socks, at least not yet.

Happy Canada Day!

isn't it crazy that we are mid year, I realised that I have half a year left before my little prep girl is no longer a preppy.

happy July to you ♥

I like July. We have Christmas in July lunches and dinners here so we can experience Christmas in cold weather. Except it is never cold enough and it never ever snows. XX

With vacation, band camp, marching season and fall still ahead of us--I'm feeling like we still have more than half a year ahead of us! While the calendar may tell us otherwise--I feel like there is so much more to come!! :)

Ohhh...don't even say it......I haven't done much golfing yet... and now.... there is not much time left to do any........ and ....well... I have another problem that might take away a few more weeks.....sigh...this year's golf seems doomed to failure....
