I Forgot The Pause

6:10 am
sitting on my patio
hot tea

6:15 am
warm sunbeams
promises for a beautiful day

6:20 am
sounds of birds singing
dew sparkling on the grass

6:25 am
flowers opening
smell of lilac blossoms

6:30 am
deep sigh...
time to go in and get ready for work

In my pursuit to Repeat/Delete/Skip/Change my day,
I forgot to add Pause to my

"Now and then it's good to pause in our pursuit of happiness and just be happy."

Am glad you had a 'pause' before starting the 'Repeat/Delete/Skip/Change'.
And a lovely pause in a lovely garden.

Hi Catherine, I can imagine that my post was a puzzle for you. This is what is about: my love is turning 50 on the 10th of July. I asked all the blog girls to send him a postcard for his birthday so that for the first (and the last I think ;-)he will received, I hope 50 birthday cards of only women.

I has to be a surprise, he read my blog to so I posted my post on the blog of Lynda, here is the link of my post on her blog:

I hope you understand the post

And I like you early morning pause, that is a great start for the day!

Love
Tanja

Sounds like a lovely way to start the day. We are in full time summer vacation mode around here. Routines out the window. Lazy mornings. Love it! Have a wonderful Wednesday. Tammy

Lovely : )

You must be lucky to not be awoken at 4:30 am by the chirping of birds - ha!
You just let me know how you get them to sleep in ;)

Hi Catherine!! With all that has been going on with us, I need that pause button but it seems to have gotten mixed up with the 'fast forward.'

I hope you're having a good week!! I love the photos from your last few posts that I missed because life has gotten in the way of my blog reading...

That's a great way to start the morning except for the get ready for work part. By 6:10 I was already at work, punched in and frying donuts.
I love that mug, it's so cute

You are so amazingly uncanny.

Ahhh, but the 'pause' button is the most important of all; it allows time to stand still while you enjoy what you really want to do...like sitting and enjoying coffee or tea!
