Loved the shots of Banjo the other day...so he used to be almost twice his size? Amazing. He's slimmed down beautifully!

If you like weeds you can come weed my vegetable garden in about 6 weeks. Our basement should be ready for guests by then.

This post made me laugh because I was all excited when I saw the first dandelion in my yard this year.

Our yard here is a field of beautiful dandelions, I love them myself. I almost hate to cut them down, and the smell is awesome.

Catherine,
First off the photo is lovely and the sentiment so true...I will even take the weeds in spring; no doubt and will not complain when they take over the yard :)
Now, about that post down below...with menopause I've had more sleepless nights where I toss and turn and how frustrating; just UGH!!! So I can't even imagine not being able to sleep like you described. I love the correlation you made with the water droplets and your thought bubbles; very clever. Last, I do the same thing, I don't want to ruin ANY journal with writing, so I'd rather sit and look at the cover; seems silly really but it's how I am!
take good care...

I actually don't mind the dandelions because it's color and like you, that's all I care about!

I hope you have a wonderful weekend Catherine!

Lovely!
I had to take my mom car shopping this weekend - and we drove all through the country highways with the fields of dandelions - quite a sight!

Catherine, I do so love your images (loved of course the kitty images!!). I smiled at your thankfulness for the weeds :-) and totally understand it!! In my part of the world (Greece) the people love winter best. It's when all the tourists bugger off :-) and all the dry scorched land turns green everywhere. It's such a peculiar experience coming from a place (Denmark) where everything dies off during winter-time. Here we have a totally beautiful display of wildflowers which suddenly (within a few weeks from now) will completely wither and die off from the heat. So I'm appreciating all the weeds before they wither... and it'll be another 5 months before they appear!!

Some weeds are prettier than others. Not trying to be discriminating...ok, maybe a little.
