CATuesday ~ Sharing

It's very hard to just sit there
staring out your garden door window
not being able to do anything

while other kitties
are in your garden
eating your cat mint

licking their lips
after partaking in
copious amounts of your nip

but it's very nice to share
especially when you have so much
much more than you will every eat yourself

"It is very nice to share Banjo,
but there really is no need to share
your kitty boogies and leave them all over
my garden door windows!"

Oh, that is not very polite of those other kitties! I don't blame Banjo for being a little miffed. Is he allowed to go out there and roll in the catnip? Hobbes nearly squished ours to death so I had to put a tomato cage around it!

poor banjo... looks so sad! beautiful garden. are the cats visitors or yours? we have doggie boogers on the inside and outside of our sliding glass doors into the back yard, also paw and nose prints up half way the door so i can relate

You are so very nice to share handsome Banjo!!!

What?! You have kitties out there stealing your catnip! OMC, we think that's awful. Well, sure, it's nice to share...but it's nice to be asked first--or be able to freely offer it. just taking it is another matter!

That Banjo is adorable! Our Jingles is always looking longingly out the windows. She is a complete indoor kitty, too, but thankfully we do have two balconies that she can venture onto. It's her favorite place to be in the evenings. Hope your day is great. Tammy

Oh, the misery of it all! Cute narrative. I love watching my cat when he is so intent on some activity outside and when he does that little deep throat cat call. Funny!

What a nice kitty you are. Sharing is good....to a degree....
It is when, those you share with, don't respect your stuff that it becomes wrong.

Dearest Cahterine,

What a precious photos and real life 'cat-talk'... But tell Banjo that our felines do get visitors too. They ALL love to come and roam around in our garden. In the woodgarden we cannot see it from the windows but for sure they get in there as well. That must tell a story that other felines find it cozy out in your garden and find happiness. Banjo will enjoy seeing some friends too. And oh, the cat-nose markings on the windows we got them everywhere... Never mind if you clean the windows, they're back in no time!

Lots of love,

Mariette

At least Banjo is 'calm' about it, and at least he's not a dog--You should see the mess they leave on a perfectly clean window!!!

O Catherine, the face of Banjo, so nice, lovely pictures.

Is Banjo never outside in your garden?

Love,

Banjo, you are so generous to let those other kitties have some of your cat mint! We think your little nose prints on the windows are cute! You should see the big nose prints out sisfur Sadie leaves! :)

Poor baby! Ive got one too that just aches to go out. Not in the city, too many dangers for the kitten boys.

Banjo, you just tell mom that sharing is caring no matter what is it...lol
How thoughtful to share the nip but those other kitties sure have some nerve just waltzing right in and helping themselves

I think you need to cut him some slack, poor kitty.. It's tough to share!!

what Banjo is really saying is "Bwhaaa I am enjoying the cozy inside with my masters at every beckon call, and ya'll have to scrounge for food!"
Okay, maybe he didn't say ya'll, his cousins could be from the south though. hehehehe

Love this, reminds me of the children's story "The Little Mouse, The Red Ripe Strawberry and The Big Hungry Bear. You have such a kind voice, and Banjo poses so well for the camera.

Haha! Silly Banjo. Yoko does the same thing to our back door, too.
What a great idea, growing your own catnip. I think I'm going to look into that for our garden!

Even with the window decorating he's done, Banjo is still a sweetheart to share his cat mint. I have a huge bushy plant of it in my front yard, but never thought to bring some in for my babies! I think I'll do that right now!

Awww - hims is wanting to go outside (that's my cat impersonation).

My dogs leave nose prints on the glass, but not the cats. I think they think they are above that! :)

I am so glad to have found your blog......Your pictures are awesome and I too have a kitty I love dearly. His name is Simon and I have seen him stand at the door with the same look on his face..........

What, you can read cats minds? I will introduce you to my Miss Sugar. I wish she could talk, especially when there is a big vet bill looming and I would just like to know, "Are you really sick?" Next time, we will visit you!
