And then again...

Snowfall Warning In Effect

...and thus begins April...
no road trip to Regina for us today

perhaps if I think -small-
I could squeeze into my
'summer in a jar'

and hide away until
the weather decides
to be a bit more agreeable...

or...

I could wake Wayne up and say
"Come on Stanley, let's go get a Timmie's (Tim Horton's)
and go see if we can find some deer or owls
at the Research Station again!"

There's always next weekend for a road trip...

Hope you make the most of your weekend my friends!!!

Damn you weather!
It's still cold here too, although we don't have snow... Yeah, I'm waiting for spring to show up too, sometimes it seems like waiting for Godot.

Have fun indoors this weekend ; )

OH NO!!! I think when this is all over we deserve an extra long summer. I like your idea of summer in a jar. I wouldn't mind climbing in there and hanging out for the day :)

Enough is enough...huh? You folks have my sympathy on having too much snow. It's time for flowers to push through the earth.
It's still cold at night here, but today it's supposed to be 70F.....we'll see. Hang in there, you'll have Spring before you know it.

Cold and rainy here today...I think this is the hardest time of the year for me because we're in limbo because of the weather--We want to get out and enjoy being outside, but we just can't. Lets just both hang on a little bit longer... :-)

If you think it might help, I'll go outside and wave my arms and direct our spring up your way!

Our spring took a break today too but I'm going to enjoy my weekend anyway and it sounds like you will too! Phooey on Mother Nature!

Wow, that's cold! I'm sorry you didn't get to go on your little trip. I think your Tim Horton coffee idea sounds like fun though. I really don't want summer in a bottle, I'm thinking it won't be long and I'll be needing your winter in a bottle that's in your freezer now! LOL

I like your summers in a jar at the beach! That long range forecast looks depressing for spring.

Not sure how you can live with temperatures like that. I don't even own a coat but am now looking for one in the op shops in case it is cold in London at the wedding.

No! Not snow today!!! That really is terrible! It sure makes my sunshine outside seem even more precious!

Thanks for your encouragment yesterday! Looks like Tuesday :)

Ohhhhh Cat... our Portugal getaway is winding down..... and I am dreading coming home to cold, dreary and perhaps even snowy weather. Yesterday it was +31C..... sigh.......................... we opened our friend Joe's pool and inaugurated it with a jump-in splash...but, it is only 12C so not realy warm enough to swim.... he thought the Canucks were nuts
.... we did too after we jumped...!! acckkkk!!!!

Oh dear, Catherine, I am sending you as much California warmth and sunshine as I can in my thoughts. Hang on, spring is coming! It just might have gotten a bit side-tracked along the way!

Hugs,
Debbie

I watched the weather channel this morning and was thinking of you and my family back home in Ontario! I can't believe the snow all of you are getting!

You need to come out to the island..it was warm and sunny today!
I think going to Timmie's is a real Canadian past time lol !!

Happy weekend Catherine!

Mother Nature is definitely in her teasing mode. :)

Too bad about your trip, hope you can reschedule it soon!
I hope we have seen the last of our snow but I won't be too complacent- things are definitely greening up and growing now. Hope it will be the same for you soon!
