What else is there to do...

...but bake cookies?

"Think what a better world it would be if we all,
the whole world, had cookies and milk
about three o'clock every afternoon
and then lay down on our blankets for a nap."
~ Robert Fulghum

I will so bake today on this long weekend with the entire family at home. We just watched that Owl movie on Friday night, what a great idea, I don't have MM's in the house though. Will have to improvise.

I love to bake but my husband isn't much of a sweets person so I bake and send treats to Nicholas' teachers :) I tell them Middle School teachers don't get enough appreication which is true but I really get to play out my baking needs AND treat others!

Happy Presidents Pets Day - the day after Presidents Day, as I like to call it. In the US, we love our presidents..... pets. See my blog if you’re in the mood for a good ol' irreverent howl.

and you said you didn't bake ...or was it cook?... either way....those are the cutest little guys!!

I want to come to your house for cookies and milk and my nap on a warm cozy blankie in front of a roaring fire...cuz I know it's damn cold over there... it got up to 0C here the other day...then today..it dropped like a stone...to -15C again....and ...it's snowing again too...sigh............................

today I baked Focaccia with some sundried tomatoes and a bit of Fontina inside it...and made some yummy soup from some leftover cabbage and ground beef...and a bit of butternut squash..and other things... totally cleaned out the fridge...and was it ever tasty!
