Saturday Chores

Saturday...

a day for:
grocery shopping
laundry
vacuuming
dusting
cleaning...

still better than a day spent at the office... ;)

Ugh. I think we should all have "people" to do those things for us so we have the weekends to just enjoy. :) I'm getting my work done quickly because we have friends coming over for dinner tonight. It's funny how fast the chores go when you have something to look forward to!

Have a good weekend, pally!

I like the keys. And the pocket watch.

The pocket watch because I have lost mine and we have spent hours looking for it. Somewhere.

The keys because I am fascinated with keys and have a very, very large key.

Oh I agree! I would much rather be home with laundry, than at work! We are enjoying beautiful weather this weekend, so I'll be spending some time outdoors. Have a lovely weekend!

I tried to explain to my boss the other day how much there is to do on weekends besides work and she didn't understand. She thinks being at the office is the only place to be. She always asks "what else is there to do?". She's in her 50s, works 7 days a week year round and has never had a relationship so can't comprehend what it's like to want to spend time with others. *sigh* Can you tell I'm already exhausted and tax season isn't even half over?

AMEN to that thought...but then again, I am tracked out :)
I was glad to hear you don't over schedule your time with your son as well. That was never the type of family we wanted which is why we had one child...
Whatever your SAturday brings, let it be peaceful and serene!

I remember those days, Catherine, when I worked fulltime.. There's always a day when 'catchup' work has to be done at home..

I used to work Sunday-Thursday --so Friday was my day off JUST for me and Saturday was my house-cleaning, grocery, etc. day!!!!! BUT--Oh how I loved My Fridays.
Hugs,
Betsy

Fabulous photos and excellent point. It is all better than a day spent at work. I have to admit though I'm playing hookie from most of the chores the weekend :)

Oh my sweet freind, I do have to agree.. I just love to put on some mucsic and pull up my sleeves
and get to cleaning.. I know that this sounds weird but it's almost like therapy for me.. I just feel so good afterwards...

Your photo's look wonderful.. I just love all of them..

Hugs, Linda

Where did you find those wonderful old keys? I have been looking for some. Even better, I would love to find some old keys and an old door with a lock to match the keys. I don't know..the turning of a key like that in a lock seems like it would be so satisfying to me..call me weird.
