You're too funny Cat.
I think I have enough snow at the present moment and more to arrive this afternoon...
Think Spring and perhaps before you know it little hints will begin to appear.

A couple of months ago, I would have taken you up on your offer... At least, I would have taken the winter part from you... But now--I'm tired of it here (although our winter was not too bad this year). I too am ready for Spring.... Bring me some green grass and some beautiful spring flowers.....

Have a wonderful Sunday.
Hugs,
Betsy

No Catherine, actually I am NOT interested...not even in the least! I too home you find some spring in your day as they truly look lovely in those viles.
Thinking of you and sending wishes of warmth to your neck of the woods~

I dread the heat and humidity, black flies and mosquitoes of summer and it lasts too long so I'll just stay with winter for now thanks.
No bugs, no heat and as cool inside as we want it to be!! :)

Brilliant!

Would you be interested in exchanging some of your snow for some of our rain? We have lots to spare:)
But what I'd really like are those pretty jars of Spring!

This was so clever. I certainly don't need any jars of winter but I would love some of those jars of spring. If you find anyone who has some would you see if they have extra for me?

Connie said...

It sure does feel like an EXTRA long winter this year, doesn't it? And the cold is absolutely unbearable! Brrr!!If you get too many jars of Spring send a few my way, would ya?! :)

I really wanted a few more jars of winter Catherine, but have to admit that I'm now ready for the new season to come out--I think I may have a coupon and would gladly use my credit card--It doesn't even have to be on sale! :-)

Laurie said...

No deal here Catherine! I've up to my eyes with the snow! Hope you find some takers though, and if you get an overabundance of spring, send it this way ok!!???

Kat_RN said...

Oh Cat, if you can find a way to store them for a few months, I can make you a great deal. Summer arrives here much sooner and it is beautiful, but it can be very hot!
Great post, you have such a creative mind.

WOW! such a well thought out AND well executed idea for a blog post! Today here in Dallas it was close to 80 degrees F after being close to zero less than 10 days ago...I'd happily ship you some of our abundant sunbeams! Thanks for your kind words over on my blog, they warmed my heart!
Cheers!

Becca said...

Um well, winter huh? Can I just have a jar of your rain, for some sun beams? You can keep the snow. :-)

HOLY COW!!! I resolve to never complain about how cold it is in NE Iowa again...

Stay warm my friend. Take a nice deep warm bath and don't go outside!

Velvet Over Steel said...

You come up the cuties and most original post!! Love them all!!

Yes, very tired of winter too. It sounds like you are having the winter we had here is SW Iowa last year. Even when Spring finally came, we thought it would be summer before the snow was all melted. It was at least 4' high/deep ever where you looked. My son had trenches dug from the door to the garage.

Come on Spring!!! We are all ready!! ~ Coreen
